Masala Palace Indisk restaurant — Restaurant in Lillehammer

Disappointed with my experience here. I ordered the butter chicken and a plain naan, but both were off. The butter chicken was completely tasteless bland, lacking the usual creamy richness and flavor you expect from this dish. Even worse, I specifically ordered a plain naan, but it came out super spicy, which made no sense and totally ruined my apatite .so i asked myself Either there was a mix-up or someone wasn’t paying attention in the kitchen. Definitely not what I expected from an Indian restaurant. Won’t be coming back...

I visited here a few months ago while driving through Norway and Sweden. This restaurant had some of the best Indian food I've ever had, including my travels across India and the USA.

The mango chicken masala specifically was so good, I asked the owner how she made it, which she excitedly shared. I've tried a few times, but I have not been able to replicate it. Lovely place with a great atmosphere, but most importantly amazing Indian food. Probably the best Indian food we’ve had in years! Tasty curries perfectly seasoned and tender meats.
