Honestly I was quite impressed by this restaurant. I’ve never been to a Vietnamese/ asian place that serves only vegan food. And they have a quite big menu! It tasted good, fresh and authentic. If it was just a normal restaurant, I would have given them three stars, because their food has the same taste of an average asian restaurant in Oslo, but by being vegan they deserve an extra star. Service was ok, you have to order from a big touch screen at the entrance and you can even change language if you don’t speak Norwegian. The lady who served the food seemed nice but there wasn’t much interaction. The place itself was spacious and clean, the music on the background was relaxing. If you want to try something new or if you have a vegan friend who wants to hang out, this is the perfect place to go.

Eathappy Vegan is a delightful spot that combines a cozy atmosphere with an impressive variety of mouthwatering dishes. The menu is extensive, offering everything from fluffy baos and fresh summer rolls to flavorful bánh mì sandwiches and fragrant noodle dishes. Their drink and dessert options complement the meals perfectly, making every visit a complete dining experience. Having tried nearly everything on the menu, I can confidently say there’s no weak link—every dish is thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The restaurant’s welcoming vibe is enhanced by its friendly and attentive staff, making it a go-to spot for anyone seeking both great food and a warm, inviting environment.

Maybe the best vegan restaurants in Oslo. It’s hard to find completely vegan restaurants in Oslo, but this has to be one of the best. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The only problem was that we didn’t have big enough stomachs to try as much as we wanted to on the menu, so I guess we’ll just have to go back. The food was reasonably priced (for Oslo) and the owner even chatted to us about why she opened the restaurant and her passion about cooking and sharing her food. Would really recommend this restaurant.

It is vegan, so every time I recommend it to people their first reaction is to say «but there is no meat?», and every time they actually try it they say «Oh it’s actually really good! How do they make the fake meat taste so good?».

I recommend everyone to try the «husets banh mi», as it has all the elements of what a banh mi should have. The baguette is crispy on the outside (so much that it scratches your palate, as it should be if it’s authentic😂) and soft on the inside. It’s meaty, herby, and has a good amount of pickled vegetables as well as their homemade sauce. You may also ask for chili, as the owner is very kind.

As a meat lover myself, it’s still one of (if not the best and most unique)...
