Excellent food and service. We’ve visited both for full meals and to have snacks and drinks. The beer selection is great and the food is fantastic, we have not been disappointed once. Fries and a beer are an amazing snack after work. Loved the fish and chips, pasta, burgers, and salads- all absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is somehow family friendly but also not boring or sleepy in the evenings. In good weather there is a very nice outdoor seating area. Love the music selection. Overall we are very happy to have Fryd in Løren and would highly recommend!!!

Best Nachos in Oslo!! So much difference with the nachos sold in "Los Tacos": nacho chips that are not just from a plastic box sold in a supermarket but as they should be, fresh and tasty sauces/dips, melted cheese (2 types), warm dish... what a difference!! We love it! Ribs and entrecote- parpadelle are "safe" dishes: well-cooked and tasty! Really polite and friendly staff ALWAYS. All of them! Signed by a neighbor and a satisfied & frequent customer. Skulle gjerne sagt det var en fryd å spise her, men det ble dessverre mer sorg. Bestille entrecote med bernaisesaus her lørdag 20. nov kl 1600, men maten kom kun med sennepvinaigre til salaten. Spurte om bernaisesaus som jeg forventet skulle være en del av maten da det står i menyen at biffen kommer med det. Servitøren, en mørkhåret kvinne, oppfattet som at jeg skulle ha ekstra saus men da jeg gjorde oppmerksom på at jeg ikke fikk saus i det hele tatt etter å ha blitt belastet ekstra for sausen som kom i egen skål, ble servitøren aggressiv og sa at man betaler for det man spiser for. Da hun fikk bekreftet fra kjøkkenet at det ikke var lagt til saus på biffen, slang hun en 20 kroning på bordet uten å beklage men anklaget meg for å være utydelig i kommunikasjonen. Jeg sa til denne frekke servitøren at jeg ikke likte tonen hennes, og i stedet for å beklage seg (noe hun kunne vunnet på), var hun bare frekk mot meg i stedet for. Dette er for dårlig av en bydelsrestaurant. Neste gang blir det et annet sted.

Ate here last night, super cocktails, aperol spritz and Long Island Ice tea, then had burgers each with fries and it was so tasty. Freshly made, hot lovely chips, fresh burger bun, ate it all. Very clean everywhere and sparkling crockery and glassware, so nice. Would definitely recommend. Oh yes... Dessert 🍨 🥧 was fab, chocolate fondant and a apple pie. ...
