When we got there the service was great. The servers where very friendly and welcoming. My boyfriend speaks Norwegian but the host of the day still took the time to speak bits in English for me.
The food however wasn't very good. The prices are higher than other places, so the expectations of the food are also higher. We got a deersteak and a burger. The deer was overcooked for the most part and not seasoned. It was alright with the sauce, but meat should taste good on it's own too. The mushrooms that where on the dish where the best part. The gratin had a good taste, but was quite dry.
The burger seemed juicy and it was. However the meat wasn't seasoned (or at least not well enough). And half of the burger tasted burned (we believe it was the burger itself trying to get a smokey taste from the charing, it just didn'tturn out too well), which made us leave about half the burger. The fries were fine, nicely salted. The union rings were a bit oily, but I personally don't handle oily stuff too well so that might just be a personal thing.
During the dinner and after the dinner we weren't asked about the quality of the food, which feels like a missed opportunity to see if the food is of standard, which today it was not.
My boyfriend has eaten here before and explained that the quality is usually better. However as a restaurant I believe it is important to strive for consistency especially when you ask higher prices for the food.

We saw that there is a service called Bounce that allows, paying, to leave luggage in (associated) establishments. We found this restaurant as a partner business. We booked, we paid and we went there. Our unpleasant surprise was upon arrival. A man, in a very bad manner, has started to yell at us and treat us as if we were fools and silly. Of course we know what is a restaurant. We came here because we were guided by the Bounce website. You would do well to review your association with this service (if it exists) and, above all, that your workers treat people with respect. It's located inside a mall with covered parking, so you can stay warm, and the decor and atmosphere is dark and sumptuous.
The food was excellent. They had a kids menu with good options, my wife had mussels which were excellent, and I had their signature brie and fig pizza, which was perfectly cooked in the Neapolitan style.
