My friends and I decided to visit 1947 for Iftaar, and little did we know that we were in for a truly unforgettable evening. Prior to our visit, I had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Janesh, who graciously accommodated our request for Iftaar arrangements, despite the restaurant typically offering only regular dine-in services.

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, and to our surprise, we found a beautifully set table with a full spread of Iftaar delicacies awaiting us. Fresh fruits, succulent chicken cutlets, tantalizing chicken lollipops, and sweet dates adorned the table, creating a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

What truly set this experience apart was the personalized attention and care we received from the 1947 team. Despite being the only customers during Iftaar, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect.

As someone who was introducing my friends to their first Ramadan in Oman, I couldn't have asked for a better setting. The thoughtful gesture from 1947 and Mr. Janesh's hospitality left a lasting impression on all of us, making it a truly memorable evening.

We had nice experience having the food from1947 Indian restaurant muscat. The place looks decent with a different ambience, the service is quiet nice and quick. The food was quiet yummy and well made. The food they had and the names of them where totally different. Plz see the fotos attached , Trying to touch and remind the heart of Freedom fighting and the struggle leading to Indian Independence

Good architecture and the ambiance reminds and sparkle the patriotism

On enquiry came to know that this restaurant celebrated it’s 4th birthday 🎂 already

Located just few meters away from the busy highway

Has car parking 🅿️ right in front Didn’t see any specially abled entrance

Foods that touch the heart of Malabar and tastes of North Indian cuisine

Dark themed

They accept payment here with both cash and visa , master

Food served did meet up to the expectations

But what made annoying was the wooden chairs squeaking over the floor I wish the management find a way to sort this problem out

Apart from this squeaky nuisance I couldn’t find any other trouble there

They offer free wifi

The person who waits the table are quite considerate and patient, polite that makes up 75% of the warm welcoming nature of this restaurant

The ilaneer sweet-( made of tender coconut ) wasn’t available instead the the waiter was happy to server us with payasam , that was well enjoyed by 7 of us 1947 Indian restaurant is an...
