Al Bustan Restaurant — Restaurant in Karachi Division

I visited the hi-tea buffet yesterday at Al-bustan. I had a miserable experience regarding the staff. They were very rude and unkind. The timing was 4:00 to 6:30. At 5:20 we just had to go to the washroom. The female staff followed us to the washroom and asked inside the washroom to come and pay the bill. It was very rude to be that much impolite, as if we were running away without paying the bill. I said we are coming. She went and loudly said "wo arahy hain". Then I went and asked for the bill. But they all behaved very rudely, shouting out loud and were asking to pay immediately as if we were running away, as if we have committed a crime, and are not willing to pay. I was shocked of this treatment. I paid and I just asked if the buffet time has ended and they said no you still have an hour to eat. I'm so disappointed, and I will never visit them again. I was visiting Karachi and wanted to invite my family for lunch buffet get together and I was so happy that I chose Al Bustan. Mr Shakeel was very accommodating and he shared the menu for the day and I was also able to choose the dishes I wanted for the day. He went over and above to organise gajar ka halwa which was amazing! He also offered complementary tea and coffee and the tea was epic! Some guests were missing the food and tea later in the week. There were close to 40 people including kids and they all had an amazing time.

The food was delicious and everyone loved it! The ambiance and food made the get together very enjoyable! I think I will be going to Al Bustan again next time I’m visiting Karachi.

Just near the Karachi club, the amazing Mövenpick Hotel Karachi is situated with it's grandeur! The interior is awe-inducing and you get a five star experience. My family visited their hi tea experience at @Al Bustan Restaurant and man, was it delightful! Their choice of the types of food people would want to eat was spot on. There was a lovely casual atmosphere in the restaurant and a real community feel about the place. Overall, it was pretty good. It had a valet parking option. The staff was friendly and attentive and they had fabulous food and drinks. however, they removed the glasses before the time ended and were taking a lot of time in refilling the dishes, but other than that, I had a lovely time.
