Since this restaurant is in a close vacinity I'm made to pay visits there quite often... What you'll learn to get surprised regarding this place is it is a two-storey joint and both levels lie in the basement of the premises... The art-work displayed is eye-catching, of course only pleasant for a tasteful individual... Old pictures of Karachi city are also on the display at some of the walls...
The theme of the restaurant is luminous... The place can accommodate 40-50 guests on its first floor... Heading down to the 2nd level the floor gets wider... There's a banquet hall to the right-side downstairs where small ceremonies are accommodated... According to my own safe guess 50-60 guests can be catered at the hall with enough room to put up a center-stage...
The two most attractive features of the restaurant, specially for the children, are the fishpond and the Macau cage... Well this cannot be attractions for kids only... Even I myself always dig for the the pair of Macau since they're large and pretty amazing...
Now coming towards the relevant part i.e. the food... the restaurant offers you a variety of cuisine... The traditional Pakistani dishes, fast food and selected Chinese food with both its actual and desi versions... The taste is also good... The tricky thing is, you just can't bet the taste of a particular dish will please you similarly if you get to try it another time... and certainly you must the person waiting on you to get the meat well done if you need it softened enough... Otherwise, you'll be embroiled in a fistfight with the pieces of meat you pour on to your plate... The desserts are also tasty if you care to enjoy some keeping your stomach partially unfilled... And don't forget to tip the guy waiting on you since they're all courteous and helpful in letting you make a decision what to order...
At last, if you're in a hurry or seriously hungry, try some place else... It takes a lot of time in getting served (minimum 40 mins) to get your order...
Read morePlace has the worst crew, we visited the place to celebrate my son's birthday. Unfortunately my son is algergic to spices so we bought one burger for my son and went there. We inquired the waiter for outdoor dinning arrangements to this he said we have indoor dinning so he took us to sitting area in basement. We were seated but then they said no outdoor food is allowed. We requested them to accomodate my son's burger as we were 6 ppl who would order food. They said sorry it's rule no outdoor food we said then should we all leave and they said Yes plz leave. We a family with 3 women 1 kid minor 1 infant 3 men left the restaurant but asked them why are they operating indoor dinning when government has closed it. They didn't answer and asked us to leave. We felt quite insulted and told them you guy's are running indoor dinning illegally and on other hand not allowing 1 single burger. We took pictures of indoor dinning and then outside entrance board of hot and spicy. As we were leaving and were about to sit in our car the manager named Shiraz came with his staff all the waiters, riders and cook and started demanding to delete the pictures or else. To this we demnded taking pictures is not illegal. But Shiraz was very loud and said don't teach me law just delete the pictures or else. In this hassle the staff misbehaved with our females even harassed them, the kids started crying and then worst thing the staff got physical with us men my father who is 70yrs old was man handled, I was pushed and grabbed by my collar lost my watch. Well to grapple the situation we deleted the pictures but the crew was cursing us all, ill words to our women. This place is operating illegally for dine in food and I will report this to authorities. FIR has been filed in Malir Police Station for women harassment and physical abuse of men. Strict action will be taken against the involved staff for sure. Plz all people don't visit with family...
Read moreI visited hot n spicy with my friends today nearly after 2 years and it was one of my worst experience. Firstly, we ordered Spicy BBQ club sandwich, makhni handi and roghni and garlic naan. I literally forgot to take the picture of the club sandwich they served us with countable maybe 6 to 7 fries, which were soggy and microwaved. Club sandwich was Rs. 480/ and there were literally 4 small pieces of bread with mayo and chicken in it. Even if a single person eat it, he won't get satisfied. After complaining that what kind of joke is it, they said they'll send a new one but it never came. Secondly, we told him to bring 2 more roghni naan, on which he came after 20 mins with plain naan and claimed that the gas pressure was very low. It was around 11pm at night and the quality and their service at that time was like that so you can imagine what's going on there in peak times. Their food quality, service and hospitality have deteriorated and I would never ever recommend anyone to go there now.
Not Recommended at all...
