Redbrick Pizzeria Napoletana — Restaurant in Karachi Division

So here's a place worth reviewing! So i end up following Google maps in a really deserted street not expecting an Italian treasure hidden in one of the bungalows in old PECHS! And here it was.

An old (probably 80s ) bungalow all set to entrain us with their juicy pizzas!

Yes it was AWESOME!

Being well traveled and visited a couple of Italian cities many times over, I'd say this is by far one of the most authentic treats I've had in Pakistan ( another one was Pizza Originale in Islamabad).

Got our reservation done via WhatsApp, something totally of a new experience for me. It was smooth as silk! Someone extremely friendly at the other end of line ...all texts and all taken care of.

Reached there on time and got our table.

Second new....the order was via WhatsApp too! That was cool. No wasting money on menus which eventually become GERM SPREADERS after a while. Bravo to that too! We ordered Pesto Besto, Fantastic Fungi,pepper and pepperoni and one more I don't recall it's name along with drinks. Yeah they had COLA NEXT which was relief. Thank you.

And then came our order...and damn man...was I blown away! Too good. Tooooo good.

Having had pizza in Pisa, Venice, Trieste, Rome, Florence and more.....this was a refreshing treat right here in Pakistan!

I'd say well done. The flavours were absolutely exploding. The veggies retained their colour and texture and their juices right there to water you! And the crust was crispy and thin and right on spot!

It was a delight. A memorable experience and a place I can go again and again and yeah I'm already recommending this heaven to everyone I know!

Where there are pros there are cons too if I have to be fair.

Real table cloth or nothing at all would be better than weird bedsheets.

We were 4 3 adults and a 9 year old...we ordered 4 pizzas and we could only finish equal to 3...exactly ONE was left. The guy could have guided us appropriately to avoid OVER ORDER. Lacking Honesty.

Lastly we got the bill details via WhatsApp too and paid via bank transfer. However there was NO BILL RECEIPT. Like seriously why? "TAX THEFT"? If not, then a prover FBR POS STRN NTN no receipt should be provided. Other than that.....it's a worth visiting again and again and again place. Yup!

Visited this pizzeria in the evening around 9.30pm. Built in an old house garage tucked in PECHS residential area near ShahraeFaisal. On arrival there was no one to greet and we had to find the place to sit on our own. Reservation was mandatory but didn't seem to be followed.

The order was taken on WhatsApp and the waiter served the order exactly within 30 minutes as commuted. We were scared as there was some mismanagement on the other table where their pizzas were served 10 minutes apart but luckily we got ours altogether.

We ordered 3 pizzas.

Lean & Green - showstopper. loaded with chicken and genovese pesto served piping hot. Perfect balance of moist topping and crispy layer of dough.

Boscaiola - decent amount of marinara sauce, beef bacon & mushrooms. Personally I didn't like it much although recommended by them on WhatsApp. We skipped pepperoni to try this but our bad luck.

Tuscan Summer - if you like a creamy pizza then this one is for you. Packed with flavours this pizza was loaded with Creamy sauce blended with sundried tomatoes, grilled chicken & Italian seasoning.

In short, the experience is worth it. Maybe it won't be a weekly go to place because of open air sitting and fragile wooden furniture. It might be uncomfortable for elderly people but good for young ones.

They must improve their server's knowledge or appoint a good face to greet people on arrival. Prices are on the higher side compared to the ambiance. If it would be an Air-conditioned indoor then prices would be justified.

My go-to place in town for the best authentic Neapolitan pizza is now Redbrick Pizzeria Napoletana. Undoubtedly, this undiscovered treasure has won my heart due to them using high-quality products and creating a warm, homey atmosphere.
