So we went to bam bou as I heard it was an exquisite Chinese brand. So I headed out to the smchs branch with my friends family to whoom I had to take out for dinner. Firstly despite the design and the interior, it's a small place from the inside, with very little place to accommodate a crowd at a Friday weekend. We had to wait for 40 minutes and the service was so poor that the representative kept asking us 5 times as to how many people we were despite the fact we already told her that we were four. She could have simply counted. Not enough space for sitting in the waiting area and the people were already leaving seeing this scanty space for waiting. Just as we were about to leave for charcoal grill, the representative immediately sprung into action and said that the seats were now available. I had well in advance during my waiting session had told the manager that I needed a place next to the led so that I could Wath the quarter final. As we went up stairs he upfront declined and said I can't offer you the space as it's reserved. So we were given a cornor spacing instead. We ordered soup for starters and had to ask for the crackers as it looked like they had no intention whatsoever of handing it out for them selves. The bowl of hot and sour soup and a chicken corn soup was served and the waiters kept nagging us for placing and order, tired. Y their constant nagging we ordered sizzling chicken with egg fried rice and sizzling spicy garlic chicken along with vegetable fried rice. The waiter told us that it would be more than enough for four people so we relied on his word and were given further 40 minutes of waiting time. In the mean team I took a break to go to the rest room and lo and behold the tap didn't have any water, clearly they were out of water so I had to informed them as they were oblivious of this fact. The waiter after a while came out of no where and started picking up the bowls of soup which we clearly hadn't finished with out even asking, I had to put him on hold and give him a lecture on basic table manners. Finally the main course was served, and much to our disgust the quantity was less for the four Of us!!! Completely the opposite the waiter had guided us or should I say misguided us. The taste of the food was ok. Finally for drinks I had ordery a peach smoothy and the waiter gave me aango smoothy, on inquiring the dumfounded waiter said I don't know. The AC was practically running on our heads we told them several times to close it but they said they couldn't. Finally the bill was given of 5294 rs and we paid it after which we were served with a comment card. We gave our comments and the floor incharge took it and on the counter went and started changing our selections because we had rated them poorly on services!!😨. Waste of money, food not as much in quano as the price they are offering Definatley NOT GOING AGAIN!! And not...
Read moreI went to the branch located at Sindhi Muslim. It was a Starr of the weekend so there was a lot of rush of cars and parking was not available so we had given our car to the vallet services of the restaurant. Ordered beef chillies, chicken Schezwan along with vegetables rice for the main course. For starters I ordered dynamite prawns and chicken drum sticks. Being a chinese restaurant there was no harm in trying their hot and sour soup. The starter prawns were small in size which was good and the dynamite sauce was also tasty. The soup was also good and spicy. It had developed taste. The chicken drum sticks were dry and had more of flour on the chicken which subsided the taste of chicken. The main course meal had less taste and the spices were not properly blended. Then I ordered the drink. I asked the waiter what was in the menu. I finally decided to order mint lemonade. The drink that I like and which is refreshing during and after meals or rather I would say spicy meals. They served the drink but soon as I took the first sip my throat was caught by the sourness of the taste. I wasnt able to finish my drink. I asked the waiter that why have you mad it so strong. He apologized and offered me to replace it. I agreed. The moment he brought the replaced drink it was too sweet. It seemed as if the cook had put a whole lot of sugar in it. I told the cook that I was not satisfied at the drj I or the food. All in all it was an...
