Xanders Second day in Karachi and was looking for a good breakfast.. everyone kept saying to head to Xanders. Hadn’t been before and now I keep asking myself why it took me so long to finally try this place. So we had.... Short Rib Egg Benedict (9/10) Anyone who has ever cooked an Egg Benedict knows it’s not an easy dish to get right and trust me, I’ve broken enough egg yolks in the process to know! This Benedict was so well balanced.. each individual item was made just right. Normally, restaurants overload on the vinegar in the Hollandaise sauce and the kick is usually too much but in this the ratio was perfect. The meat was tender and pulled off the bone and well cooked. Probably one of the best Benedicts I’ve had in the country. Mediterranean Omelette (1/10) Jitna acha Benedict tha, utna bura Mediterranean omelette tha. Never been a fan of black olives but it felt like Xanders has a black olive surplus in the inventory pantry because calling it loaded with it, inside and on top, was an understatement. The capsicum stuffed inside was raw with no hint of cheese, or flavour for that matter found anywhere. Had a few bites and returned it. It was atrociously bad! Nutella French Toast (9/10) The only reason this wasn’t 10/10 is because the serving was too little!! Yaar this was the best Nutella French toast I’ve had ever.. like ever! When we ordered, I was expecting s generic French toast loaded with Nutella made the world over and wasn’t too excited abt it but one bite and I was transported to my happy place! Ufff so good! Especially the caramelised Apple stuffed inside the toast, when eaten with the raw freshly cut pieces!! Mannn I wanna have it again lol.. but just when you start enjoying the flavours, it’s finished! Farrrkkkkkk 😔😒 Blueberry Smoothie bowl (10/10) The highlight of the breakfast.. didn’t want to order but the server kept insisting and rightly so. Guys, the idea of an edible smoothie just doesn’t sound appealing but I was so wrong!! It literally felt like being slapped in the face (in a good way) every bite I took. The berry yogurt mix packed a punch and it was loaded with blueberries. The mix was covered with ample fruits and nuts! A must have!!! Mixed chai (0/10) - Skinny Latte (8/10) I don’t understand why these places can’t do a decent chai. It’s not the difficult guys!! Skinny latte was lovely, the beans felt freshly ground roasted and ground. Good coffee! Service (10/10) Professional staff that actually knew what was in the food they’re serving.. made the best recommendations and when we returned the omelette, the manager himself attended to my complain. Polite and very accommodating! It was definitely an addition to the whole experience at Xanders. Verdict: coming back fo’sure!!! Damage: Rs. 3650 (worth every rupee)

Xander's Clifton is usually considered a restaurant for the rich and prefers to stay away from it, but after seeing other restaurants closed, this place was open late at night. When we arrived, there were still people there, but we didn't have to wait and after we ordered and sat down, the food was delivered on time. The quality of the food was good, the taste was good and the quantity was such that a man could eat his fill. We ordered XANDER'S GOAT'S CHEESE & FIG PIZZA, NORWEGIAN pizza , SPICY PEPPERCORN SALAMI. I liked the Norwegian pizza the best, with the pure flavor of the Norwegian smoked salmon dominating. XANDER'S GOAT'S CHEESE & FIG PIZZA was a bit difficult to eat as it had a goaty smell in it which I don't like very much. This is a matter of personal preference and not everyone has a problem with it. The SPICY PEPPERCORN SALAMI was also good and enjoyed eating. Overall, we only ordered pizzas, I'd say it was pretty good every single one. The price is reasonable and the quantity doesn't feel pricey.

First the entrance is a bit deceiving. I was fortunate the door was open when I got there so went to the right place, but my friend before and after me ended up going into the back alley door. Which seemed to be a common mistake. Food I have mixed feelings about. Came hungry ordered almost everything and left hungry. The small plates were almost all delicious so much so ordered 2 rounds of the tuna tacos. Wish the main menu had elements of the small plates. Would come back just for the small plates Crepes got the shaved beef and the shrimp. Shaved beef was good, shrimp so so. Neither was something I'd come for again. Most of the menu is crepes Burger not my pick I would never order a burger but I guess safe for some. My friend liked it. Steak Cafe De Paris, meat cut and medium rare cook was perfect. Enjoyed it more on it's own than with the sauce. Dessert. Ordered The Apricot crepe which seemed to be canned apricots?... only if they fresh or even seared/ caramelized that would be something. The Chocolate Gourmande crepe was delicious got 2 but sadly the second order didnt have as much chocolate love as the first. So yea all this food with 3 ppl and I left hungry.. but that could be me.

Service: 1/5 Food: 3/5. Food: We had the Gouda burger which was nicely made - the patty wasn’t juicy however, even though i asked for a medium. The fries were just average. The chimichurri sauce steak was cooked nicely and was presented well. The bad part: the crispy fried chicken with Parmesan sauce didn’t taste like anything. I could make it better at home. The pizza toppings were quality - but I’ve had way better thin crust pizzas. The dough could have been a more airy and a tad bit more salty. Drinks: blue margarita was good, cranberry ginger cocktail tasted like water mixed with cranberry juice topped with yesterday’s mint leaves. Service: we could clearly hear the waiters quarreling over tables, throwing tantrums at each other saying i won’t serve this food at all, you do it yourself etc. It was chaos and totally ruined our experience. Ambiance: all we could smell for the first 30 minutes was the smoke from cheap mosquito coils. For goodness’ sake, invest in electric heaters. You aren’t some roadside chips wala! The restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its exceptional and scrumptious food and service. The ambiance is inviting, and the staff are attentive, kind and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall meal. The highlight is undoubtedly their signature dishes, which are both flavorful, succulent and beautifully presented. However, the only drawback is the often overcrowded space, especially during peak hours, which can lead to a bit of congestion and a less comfortable dining experience.I dont know may be i am used to sit in vast and open spaces.Parking is an issue but valet offers a solution.Serving is good but they put too much salad n veggies which is good for health but i come here for cheat meal and donr wana stuff my tummy with two giant potatoes.Despite this minor inconvenience, the quality of the food and the attentive service make it a place worth visiting.I offered Arugula steak which was delicious and properly cooked.

Great service, great food and ambience, came for breakfast from 10-12. The servers were very efficient and alert to our needs. Food came so fast I'm amazed how the kitchen can turnaround orders so quickly The seaweed tacos were worth ordering 11am because they were yummy nuggets of dressed fish. Every bite was an explosion of flavors Then we headed to the hunter beef crepe with poached eggs - awesome combo for anyone who loves their egg with some meat on the side. Beef was succulent and the eggs was perfectly poached. We were fully stuffed but proceeded to order and share the lemon curd crepe. What a perfect way to finish this meal of culinary delight. 2 lattes and 2 pumpkin lattes later, we rolled our bodies off the chairs and into our cars. A visit well worth the spend and a tummy that will not forget the favors it received here today.
