Extraction Coffee — Restaurant in Lahore Cantonment Tehsil

Got here early morning to check out the place, but it didn’t feel very welcoming—maybe it’s not really for early risers. (If you need that double shot, it’s probably better.)

That said, the barista definitely knows their stuff, and the specialty coffee was amazing—actually better than Double Shot.

Service could use a bit of work though, especially in the morning. My croissant took over 15 minutes to arrive ☹️ and no it was not being baked, just getting warmed up.

On the bright side, both the bagel and croissant tasted great! (Bagels looked so good I could not even spare a second to snap a photo 😬😂

Updating review from 4 star service to 2 and here’s why: The first day the cashier came very late, had to wait there 20 mins after my meal was done just so I can pay the bill (I left this out last time so they don’t get in trouble but because it’s happening again I had to)

Experience this time, got there at 7:10 and I’m told the cafe is closed. Now according to google, it opens at 7am while no one is there to serve as told by the security guard.

Who ever owns this franchise? You need to get this in order. I liked your food but still I’m at another cafe getting better service.

Small Space, Big Flavor

Extraction coffee has officially earned a spot in my top 3 coffee stops in the city, and that’s no small title. Their hazelnut latte? Flawless. Smooth, rich, and none of that artificial nonsense you get from other spots nearby. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and there’s a genuine effort to create a warm, inviting vibe with thoughtful indoor and outdoor decor. 😍

Now, let’s address the elephant in the (very small) room: it’s tight. Like, elbows-touching, scoot-your-chair-carefully kind of tight. It’s not ideal if you’re looking to sprawl out with a laptop and a dream. But hey, if you’re there for quality coffee and not a co-working space, it’s a minor trade-off.

All in all, it’s a charming little spot with a whole lot of heart. Come for the coffee, stay for the cozy. Just maybe don’t bring your entire book club, or you might have to sit outside.
