Read moreThe brew this time was strange. I’ve been here regularly, but this time their signature brew (Spanish Latte) had a sour tinge to it. Surprised. Baristas can ruin good brands.

Update: Went third time in a week and the sourness has only increased every time. It’s really strange.
Artisan Coffee has been a favorite local spot of mine, which makes it disappointing to say that the quality at this branch has dropped lately. especially the Spanish Latte and V60 (Indonesian beans).
This is likely the issue of barista training issue, and possibly problems with storage and brewing practices, especially during this humid monsoon season, when beans can easily absorb moisture and go stale. This time I went to the counter and checked the beans and they’re definitely staled. Poor barista was clueless. Look, proper climate-controlled storage, vacuum-sealed containers, and barista consistency are key to maintaining quality.
I truly hope the owners take this constructively. Artisan has the potential to compete with multinational brands, and I still support their journey as I’ve been since its initial days. With some focus on quality control, they can bounce back stronger.
Wishing them success — and hoping for better...
Read moreDiscovered this nice cosy cafe while looking for a nearby coffee spot. Their sandwiches were really good and the coffee was above average which we enjoyed.
They have mentioned balanced sweetness for quite a few of their flavoured coffees due to which we decided to try their pistachio latte but it was sweet to the point that it was undrinkable. After enquiring whether they added sugar we found out that they make these in condensed milk which itself is too sweet because it's made with sugar. So just a heads up incase someone wants to try the flavoured ones.
They were kind enough to make us a regular cap and didn't even charge extra which I told them that I'm happy to pay.
Overall a good experience and will visit again for...
