Bovinoes Steak House — Restaurant in Model Town Tehsil

Met with friends yesterday night and ended up at Bovinoes for dinner as everyone wanted steaks & this here was a new much hyped place near our homes. Once there, we found that there was a lengthy wait for a table despite us having booked in advance. Anyhow we waited & once seated, my friends ordered rib & rib eye steaks, a burger called The Highway Man & I had a change of heart & ordered the Portugese Chicken. The service was pretty quick and our food came within fifteen minutes of ordering. The food was worth the wait. The establishment claims to serve 400gs of bovine in every steak serving & honestly the size of the steaks when served backed this assertion nicely. My friends were all praise for their steaks & that their required temperature (medium) had been perfectly nailed by the cooks. I took a bite out of a friend's rib steak & it was a perfect medium with a nice pink streak in the middle of the meat. My chicken was frankly speaking just awesome. I can safely say it was miles better than Nandos. The chicken was nicely done with crispy skin & tender flesh. They were especially successful in keeping the breast meat juicy & tender, something most restaurants struggle with. The marination of the chicken & spice level was near about perfect obviating at least for me the need for the peri peri sauce served alongside the chicken. Ended up at Masoom's pancake lounge for banana bread & apple pie. The restaurant is pricey though seeing the meat quality & their cooking, a real beef afficionado would gladly be willing to pay the circa Rs 1500 pre GST for a steak coming from a prime cut. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF VISITING BOVINOES, PLEASEN DONT !

It was my 2nd time there, had guest over from Karachi. Which i still regret taking him there.

Bovinoes was appearently booked by a few bikers. The lower level was booked by them, none the less we waited for 20 mins for our turn to go and have a nice steak. When we got our turn to be seated, we were treated as we were there to eat free food, no importance was given to any requests we made.

When ordering steak I clearly mentioned that they messed up the temperature last time i had visited, so requested them to make sure to get it right this time.

Unfortunately i had ordered medium rare, but they gave me medium well. Had no courtesy to change to steak, and they said that if i had not eaten the bit of the steak they would change it. I dont get it, how on earth can i check the steak without tasting !

Oh and not to forget the terribly slow service and quite unprofessional service. Chewing gum , and no manners to talk and no humbleness the waitors made the experience worst.

No manager and no waitor was bothered to apologize for the wrong food! And for the bad service. They were all ingorantly busy with more important guests !

We clearly mentioned that we will not be coming bsvk to bovinoes again, thr answer we got was ok sir thank you, !

Never again i am going there!!

And i suggest you yo not go there if you value your money, and if you are a foodie. !! There are places which are way better than...
