Orient Restaurant — Restaurant in Zone 1

We’ve been going to Orient Restaurant since 2002 when it was just a hole in the wall. We were moving into our place in F-11 and ventured out looking for something simple to eat.

Since then, we’ve been making Kabab Rolls from fresh Plain Naan and a couple of Beef Seekh Kababs. Yummm! Divine!

20 years later, we returned to Islamabad and went looking for the place. Masha’Allah, the place has become bigger and is always full - the flavour has remained consistent.

Next on my list is to try their Chicken Karahi and Tawwa Fish - both have been advised to be fantastic as well.

AA. We had heard a lot about the Orient BBQ in F10 Islamabad. Went there and ordered the following: Starters: Cheese Naan Mains: Beef Seekh Kebabs , chicken tikka leg piece, white karahi. The chicken tikka was very good. Juicy and adequate spices. The beef kebabs were awesome. Very juicy , not full of spices , tender and tasty. The white Karahi was surprisingly very good as well. A very old restaurant in F-10/4 markaz with a good variety of desi food. They have renovated the restaurant a couple of years ago and it looks very nice. They have ample amount of space for families and large groups of people. You have the the option to sit inside or outside.

They offer BBQ as well apart from the traditional desi dishes. Their chiken tikka is not bad. But thier fish fingers are amazing and available in winters only.

The level of cleanliness can be improved both inside the restaurant and outside as well. The restaurant is nicely located and it can get very busy...
