I had a great time here with my family. The owner, Maria Gabriela, is amazing—she guided us through the chocolate-making process and introduced us to a delicious mango tea with dried fruits, which you can eat as they soak in the tea. Though we didn’t try the empanadas they serve, we plan to return for them.

We bought a variety of coffees and chocolates, all of which were a hit with friends and family. Maria Gabriela recommended the Catuai coffee blend, which made a perfect gift.

The shop’s ambiance is also lovely, with seating under a beautifully decorated tree that changes with the seasons. It’s perfect for photos and a cozy chat with friends. Easily the highlight of my solo trip to Panama! I booked the chocolate tasting with Geisha coffee before arriving to the country and didn’t expect to receive a direct call in advance. Really love their attention to detail and excellent customer service. I had to reschedule my appointment last minute due to an expected day trip cancellation and it wasn’t an issue at all. The store is a quick Uber ride from Casco Viejo. The heart-shaped chocolate with passion fruit and the honey one were my favorites. I got the chocolates, coffee beans, and small jar of honey as souvenirs and can’t wait to go back for more. Special shoutout to Hiro and Maria who made my visit extra special.
