KAVA — Restaurant in Bella Vista

I very rarely give 5 stars (see my other reviews). But Kava merits all five. Sushi fresh, with a flair. Pesto pasta teeming with flavor (pasta might even have been homemade!) Presentation artful. The kava brownie dessert was literally a flavor bomb with chocolate sauce, crunch, and vanilla ice cream. And we had a Nutella pistachio pizza for dessert, too. Kava is undoubtedly the best kosher restaurant in Panama. After visiting all the kosher spots in the city, this one stood out the most. I ordered the sweet and spicy edamame, along with the Rock and Roll sushi roll, and the sexy fish and enjoyed the Jelly Jungle to drink. The entire family had a fantastic time as well. This spot is connected with Brusca so when you come here you can access both menus, which is exactly what we did.

From Kava we ordered the Tempura broccoli, the Samba sushi and the sushi pizza. The sushi pizza was the winner and it's a must order! The crispy rice on the bottom is topped with Kani and then topped with fresh nigiri and seaweed salad. It was perfect, flavorful, and I would go back just for that.
