When entering the restaurant, you are greeted with a massive doors 🚪. There are 4 massive VIP room and plenty of other places to sit. When looking at menu there is many dishes to choose from ranging from 13$ a dish to 50$ dish which is pretty expensive. Since bistro is defined as a “small, casual restaurant with a relatively inexpensive, simple menu”. The most disappointing thing is that the portion size of the food were child size which couldn’t even feed 2 adult but the quality of the food was amazing at least. Yes, it’s a fancy restaurant but I should at least get value for my money and I didn’t get that. In the other hand, the interior and exterior design looks amazing with plenty of space and very furnaced and I saw the manager checking each table if it’s clean and organized. The service was amazing at the beginning and middle but at the end was pretty bad since they made us wait for 30 min for our last dish which they absolutely forgot and was about to charge us without giving us our last dish. Overall, pretty bad experience since I wasn’t full at the end because of the small portion size and they made us wait 30 min for our last dish. But you should try it yourself once and taste how...
Read moreFrom beginning to end just a not great experience. Walking in the door the servers were perplexed I think to see a customer. I had to ask if they were open which they agreed that it was. The dining room tables were mostly empty with a few tables set for customers; there were no actual customers but for a place to seem like fine dining at least all tables should be set.
Service was slow in the beginning and non-existent for the remainder of the meal. Not once were we asked if things were ok or needed anything, nor were any plates cleared at any time.
The food was the real low point for me however as I can easily deal with poor service and poor atmosphere. I can't recall the names of all the dishes but the shrimp with weird sweet sauce and decrative but edible butterfiles for $28 was awful. The "ravioli" weren't great but mostly edible. The Puerco Salteado al Wok was just ok but not enough to salvage this dining experience.
I wouldn't return or recommend this...
Read moreThis is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Panama City, and I'm not just saying that. The space is incredibly spacious and the service is absolutely perfect. But let's talk about the food - it's simply unbeatable. Every dish is bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. And to top it all off, the staff is incredibly friendly, including the charming 小姐姐 who always greets you with a smile. If you're looking for an unforgettable Chinese dining experience, this is the...
