I recently had the pleasure of visiting Fenicia in Panama, and I must say it is a great hookah lounge for watching sports while enjoying delicious drinks. From the moment I stepped into the lounge, I was impressed by the vibrant and energetic atmosphere.
Fenicia offers a unique blend of a hookah lounge and a sports bar, making it the perfect spot for those who enjoy both pastimes. The lounge is well-designed, with comfortable seating arrangements and multiple screens strategically placed throughout the space, ensuring that every guest has a great view of the sporting events.

The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring that the hookahs are prepared correctly and providing assistance when necessary. Whether you’re a hookah enthusiast or just looking to try something new, Fenicia has you covered.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the drinks at Fenicia. The bar offers an impressive array of cocktails, beers, and other refreshing beverages. The bartenders are skilled and attentive, creating drinks that are not only visually appealing but also packed with flavor. The wide range of options ensures that there’s something to cater to everyone’s taste.
What sets Fenicia apart is the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The staff is attentive and approachable, always ready to assist and make sure that guests have a great time. Whether you’re a sports fanatic or someone looking to relax with friends over a hookah and drinks, the staff at Fenicia goes above and beyond to create a memorable experience.
Furthermore, the lounge itself is well-maintained and clean, providing a comfortable and enjoyable environment. The music is also carefully selected, creating a lively yet relaxed ambiance that adds to the overall experience.
In conclusion, Fenicia is a fantastic hookah lounge and sports bar in Panama. Whether you’re looking to catch a game with friends or simply unwind with a hookah and delicious drinks, Fenicia offers a great atmosphere, friendly service, and a memorable...
Is Fenicia Panama at Sortis not what it used to be?
It used to be one of my favorite places, but I feel that Fenicia Panama has declined over time. Sandwiches used to come with their iconic Fenicia fries included; now, they’re an extra you have to pay for. They also used to offer a delicious garlic sauce as a courtesy, but now it’s no longer provided. On top of that, the portion of protein seems to have decreased, which is disappointing given the prices.
I ordered a large coffee, and to my surprise, it arrived half-filled. When I asked about it, they explained they use capsules, and that’s the limit. While I understand coffee isn’t their specialty, this leaves much to be desired for a place that strives for quality.
I want to highlight the excellent service provided by Ambar, who was kind and professional, doing everything possible to improve my experience. However, it’s clear that when staff lack empowerment to resolve issues and management ignores customer feedback, the overall experience suffers. It feels like those at the top don’t care about the details and only stick to their own way of doing things.
The food is still good, but it’s certainly no longer excellent like before. The small details that made Fenicia a unique experience seem to be fading away.
I left with an uncomfortable feeling. I’m unsure if I’ll return, and I’d suggest thinking twice before visiting if you’re expecting the experience they...
Read moreFenicia is a casual restaurant located at the bottom of Sortis hotel. Their shawarmas and desert (hot chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream) are among the best I've had anywhere. Their menu is like a catalogue, so there's something for everyone. The quality is consistently amazing and everything I've tried has been absolutely delicious. Add to that excellent prices, and you have one of the best restaurants in Panama. The only thing that could use some work is their arguille/shisha (it's a bit too strong), but it's still nice to have. Highly...
