Great nachos and a great time with friends...
I only and strictly order the nachos in here so I'll make an emphasis on them. Los Nachos de la Abuela are a delicious monstrosity that promise to extinguish all hunger whithin yourself and please your soul with all the cheesy, saucy, beany and crunchy needs it might have! They are addictive, enough for 3 and maybe 4 people but be careful, even when full you might want more. These are not the best nachos I've had yet I find myself eating them at least twice a month with my friends.
Also, the tables are wrapped with manila paper for "kids" to write on them with crayons... me and my friends just play a bunch of games on them. The horchata drink is good aswell. My only issue is that this specific restaurant of the franchise is not opened on the weekends and I'm forced to eat my nachos in another one which SUCKS because even though they all prepare the nachos the same way, the best Nachos de la Abuela are here!
It will be messy, it will be raunchy and it will be big! Whether you like them or not, you will never...
Read moreThe waitress couldn't get our order right even a single time, she even insisted on a wrong order when we called her to tell her something was missing. There's a lot of waiters and waitresses and she couldn't even keep up, we called her and she had us waiting for about 15 minutes. Asked for a promotion that day and she was charging us the entire price when she brought the check.
The nachos were decent enough, nice quantity, but the drinks seemed of a very low quality, definitely not worth the price. Gave us a jelly with tequila shot on the house, and it tasted of the lowest quality tequila, it was nauseating.
There were mariachis at one point in the night and those guys were very fun, but the rest left a lot to wish for. Also, the bathroom was clean but they left chlorine on the floor, it stunk of chlorine and got on my clothes, staining them. Horrible. Never going back. Try another location, not this one. Maybe Costa del Este...
Read moreThis mexican food restaurant is about average. The food was good, but the prices were a bit high for my liking. Also the attention of the server could have been better. It feels more like a bar than a restaurant. The margaritas were extremely sweet and actually make me feel sick because of how much sugar. They only have one menu and it is 4ft tall and on wheels. The table cloth is large sheets of construction paper that is stapled onto the bottom of the table, hundreds of spent staples in the table top and bottom, the ones on top are uncomfortable on your arms, the ones under, if pulled part way out, will stab or scratch you, which happened to me. Not the best, but not the worst, I won't...
