Botánica Costa del Este | TAF — Restaurant in Juan Díaz

Fuimos sin reserva (la app no aceptaba, no había disponibilidad) y conseguimos mesa afuera. El ambiente es cool pero OJO: el ruido ambiental es heavy (música buena pero mezclada con voces y muy alto volumen= combo molesto).

Lo bueno: El panzerotti de ossobuco (4.7/5) 👌🏻 Delicioso, jugoso y bien preparado. Atención inicial top (antes de que se llenara). El vibe del lugar es instagrameable 100%

Lo malo: Las pizzas son un crime against Italian cuisine (ni las pidan). Parecian salsa de lata + ingredientes mediocres = peor que pizzas de cadena (sí, asimismo). Servicio que desaparece cuando hay lleno total

Al Final: Ven por drinks y appetizers (el panzerotti es must), pero evita las pizzas como si fueran multas de tránsito. para mi con mejoría en pizza y control de ruido, podría ser un 5/5.

We risked a walk-in (app was down) and scored an outdoor table. Cool vibe but HEADS UP: noise levels are insane (good music + crowd chatter = annoying mix).

The Good: Ossobuco panzerotti (4.7/5) 👌🏻 Flavor bomb, cooked to perfection. Service was on point (before the rush). Instagram-worthy decor 100%

The Bad: Their pizzas are a culinary sin 🚫🍕 Canned sauce + low-quality toppings = worse than chain pizza (yes, I went there). Staff goes MIA when it gets packed

Final: Come for drinks & appetizers (order the panzerotti!), but treat their pizza like last year's fashion. Maybe with better pizza recipes and noise control, this could be elite.

Beautiful place and the flavors are definitely there, but the experience needs some improvement. The table service was slow, and the wait for the food was longer than expected. When the dishes arrived, they were unfortunately dry and already cold, almost as if they had been sitting under the heat lamp for too long.

It’s a shame because the taste itself is very good, and the ingredients seem high quality. With better timing in the kitchen and more attentive service, this spot could easily rise to 4 or even 5 stars. Hoping to see it improve because the potential is definitely there.

El lugar es muy bonito y los sabores definitivamente están ahí, pero la experiencia necesita mejorar. El servicio en la mesa fue lento y la espera por la comida fue más larga de lo esperado. Cuando los platos llegaron, lamentablemente estaban secos y fríos, como si hubieran estado bajo una lámpara de calor por demasiado tiempo.

Es una lástima porque el sabor sí es muy bueno y los ingredientes parecen de calidad. Con un mejor manejo del tiempo en la cocina y un servicio más atento, este lugar fácilmente podría subir a 4 o incluso 5 estrellas. Ojalá mejoren, porque el potencial está...

The restaurant is very noisy, a mix of loud voices and ambient music. The ambient is cold, come ready to peel up when inside and peel down when outside. They do have vegan cheese, but besides the vegan pizza could offer only a pasta bolognesa.
