Stopped in on our last night in the area to order something to take out, and wished we had checked it out sooner. German Latin family owned and has a great vibe from the moment you arrive. You are made to feel like family when you first step on the property. All enthusiastic smiles and introductions and eager to make sure you know that they are so sincere and happy that you chose their business. Looks like it can get busy and very lively with upbeat music and great company. Sometimes they have live music and jam sessions. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good selection of German, Latin and Middle Eastern dishes, and an impressive selection of imported beers. This will be a regular stop anytime we are back in the area. The team here are happy and it is infectious.

Food was good, no complaints, good portion size, reasonable prices, the drinks were quite large so you get your moneys worth. The menu has a wide variety of food options from Arabic food to sausages and burgers etc. service was excellent, it’s a family business so it was very welcoming and everyone was super kind. The people there are amazing. They also make special requests in the kitchen, all you have to do is ask! Most of the tables are outside and it’s a very pleasant atmosphere

A hidden treasure! Great food. They have a multi cultural mix. Friendly family owned. German, Latino, Middle Eastern selections. This is a must stop in the Coronado area. We had a sausage mix platter and falafel. Enough for 2 with leftovers! Loved talking to the owners. What a beautiful family.

Best Bar & Restaurant I've ever been to in my life ❣️❣️❣️

Exceptional service 👌🏾

🍀🌈💰Just as its name describes, it is a Sacred Place with Hidden Treasures of the Leprechauns (Alex 🤫)- so many treasures; LOVE, being one of the treasures that's really not that hidden if you're open to it.

I was met at my taxi by Stefany (daughter); then the father, Alex, greeted me with open arms as I was searching for my perfect table. And, Alex constantly checked on me throughout the evening 🤍

How many people does it take to call for a taxi 🚕?

At La Huaca del Duende, the entire family & staff made sure I was safely escorted home as I was visiting solo. They actually stood out in the parking lot and watched 👀 & waved 👋🏾 as the taxi 🚕 drove away 🫠

The Love at La Huaca del Duende is phenomonally intoxicating, and they are my family now❣️

One Tuesday night at La Huaca del Duende has turned into three (3) nights of bliss this week, including tonight (2/15)❣️

If you ever feel alone, or homesick for family, or just feel like having an AMAZING time with friends and family you didn't know you had...yet!...this is the place to go! I have been around for decades and have travelled to more than 40 countries, resided in dozens... the first time I walked up to this lovely puece of paradise, I knew within minutes that I found HOME. Every person who is there whether working, singing, drinking, partying...EVERYONE is so happy, caring, loving, friendly, hospitable...why? Because the owners Alex and Liliana are just that!...and their love mirrors and reflects to everyone around them! There's nothing they won't do to help another human being...these are Angels on Earth! FOOD IS GREAT, MUSIC IS GREAT, BEERS ARE GREAT, ATMOSPHERE IS AWESOME!!!
