ACHA Costa del Este — Restaurant in Parque Lefevre

I visited this restaurant with my wife last week for dinner, we had too much expectations because according to degustapanama the food looked tasty and the environment looked so cool, when we arrive it looked nice from the outside (good environment) but as soon as the waiter settled us in our table we noticed from that very moment the service was too bad for being a so pricy restaurant, when you order your food you expect the waiter to be very knowledgeable about every single dish they serve but instead they would not even know more than the menu, totally disappointed, we wanted to give it a second chance by tasting the food, but, again, it was regular for the price, there was nothing special about the restaurant at the end...

Ohh and also their Instagram page said there was going to be a jazz show live that night but all we listened to was the speakers xD

Terrible experience. We got to the restaurant and ordered and the waiter told us that they didnt had that plate available so naturally we ordered another thing and he told us that they were also out of that so after trying to order 5 different things and being told that they didnt have those things we managed to get something to eat. And after we got the order it was terrible the food was not that good the fish was tasteless and so were the clams. The drinks were good and the fillet was amazing but most of the things we ordered were either tasteless or full of sand and rocks like the clams. The shrimps were nothing amazing. If this place wants to have this "exclusive status" they at least have to serve decent food. The service...

We went here on a weeknight and I was somewhat underwhelmed.

Pros:

The service and ambience were fine, orders were taken quickly, drinks served quickly and the bill was fast too

Toilets were nice

I had a solid martini

Bread was excellent

Squid was exceptionally good

Cons:

We had the seafood platter and I was generally slightly disappointed. The entire thing was overly drenched in oil and garlic, which took away some of the taste

Quality varied a lot on the platter. The squid was amazing and the fish and prawns were solid, but the clams and mussels were completely overwhelmed with oil and were nearly inedible

The air conditioning was ice cold. I was freezing in there so bring a jacket...
