Let me put this way: The food is very good but the service is OUTSTANDING! Here is the story. I am Brazilian from Campo Grande... my wife and I took a small trip to Assuncion to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We decided to go to Tierra Colorada on a monday night (october 10th, 2022). So I thought it wouldn`t be necessary to make a reservation. I was totally wrong. Once we got to the restaurant I informed them about our lack of reservation and they told us in the most respectful way that the house was full booked. My wife and I started talking to decide where to go next. Suddenly a young man approached us trying to help. He started saying about the various kinds of restaurants around and then (get prepared) he even offered us a ride to the other restaurant. The man entered the restaurant again. Soon after the maitre d' announced that a spot on the reservations appeared and there was a table available. The service by all the staff was amazing, our dishes came fast and the food was delicious. When we were about to leave I asked who was that young man who helped us... And the maitre told the man was the son of the restaurant owner (I was surprised), so, he was one of the bosses. We were shocked, amazed and TOTALLY THANKTFUL! I definetely go back to Tierra Colorada.

Recommended to visit this restaurant as I heard its one of the best in Asuncion. Was welcomed by the warm staff and liked the interior of the restaurant, especially how bright it is and also the centre of attention: the tree! Looked at the menu and asked the staff for recommendation and was recommended to try the Asado a la Olla, which is also a local Paraguayan dish. They also recommended me to try the lemon tart which I ordered eventually, as I wanted to see if I had the space to finish the main before having dessert. I was impressed with the main dish as I was told the beef was cooked for more than a day. The meat was so tender it felt like it could just melt in the mouth. Really enjoyed the food and the flavours though the plating was errrrr kinda weird. The lemon tart really hit all the notes for a good dessert and I definitely recommend ordering this. Have to say the meal was really enjoyable and thumbs up for the good food and service!

Chegamos ao Tierra Colorada, em um dia em que eu não estava muito bem para comer, enjoada e tal. Mas, não queria estragar a noite e nem perder a oportunidade de estar ali, pois não havia mais como reservar para os outros dias. Preciso dizer q fomos extremamente bem atendidos, o barman muito gentil, um lugar cheio de cortesias, literalmente. Poderia ser o lugar mais caro do país, mas não é. Bom, pedimos uma entrada que são umas bolitas com molho de ceviche e tals, maravilhoso. Como prato principal meu marido pediu Asado a la olla, eu estava bem enjoada não pedi nada. O Garçom gentilmente perguntou se eu queria dividir o prato com o meu marido e assim tentar comer um pouco. Fizemos isso e comi um pouco, pq estava divino. Experiência maravilhosa. Tentamos voltar, mas estava lotado realmente. Must go! As fotos estão péssimas, desculpem.

Ambiente relajado casi íntimo, de espacio limitado, con luces tenues por la noche y ambientación musical suave. Un menú con opciones diversas, sabores exquisitamente pensados. El menú de vinos extenso, destaca de lo mejor de Argentina. Cenamos pastas, carnes vacunas y cordero y todo estaba delicioso, los detalles de cortesía como estos mini mousse de dulce de leche en la foto, un absoluto acierto. También probé el volcán DDL. Una bomba solo para "dientes dulces". Felicitaciones al chef, un orgullo del Paraguay! La atención merece un 10, desde la reserva, ingresar, permanecer y salir del local. Ojo creo que el lugar no tiene estacionamiento

Un lugar sobresaliente He comido muy bien y me han servido muy bien en Asunción durante toda mi estadía; pero en Tierra Colorada fue todo un poco mejor que en el resto Probé la burratta con mrotadella, el ceviche y ña degustacion de payagua mascada Los principales: surubí con Cremoso de papa y remolacha; dorado al vapor, asado a la olla, risotto y cordero El surubí y el dorado, junto con el cordero; espectaculares El amuse bouche al principio y la cortesía del quinoto confitado con bizcochuelo de maní para el café son detalles que hacen ña diferencia Espero volver pronto a Tierra Colorada y probar más cosas

La Tierra Colorada Gastro tiene un nombre muy importante dentro del mundo gastronómico en Asunción y todo Paraguay. Tras la experiencia, puedo decir que no decepciona. La atmósfera y la estancia del restaurante es muy acogedora y original. El galardonado chef Rodolfo Angenscheidt nos presenta una carta de platos típicos Paraguayos con ingredientes autóctonos y muy frescos. Desde las croquetas de Mandioca, el Suribí, el Cordero hecho a fuego lento y los Lomitos hechos a la perfección. El servicio es muy atento, amable y eficiaz. Volveré.
