My husband and I are new homeowners in Pelham Manor and a young minority couple, which seems to be unpalatable to the neighbors of this middle-class suburbia. We have been profiled before and hoped that would be a thing of the past, but unfortunately no. Due to Pelham Country Club not actually having any typed info on their membership webpage, we decided to visit in person and have a look at the grounds. We may not look like what was expected, but we love golfing! My husband and I parked at the lot, walked right through the front gates and even greeted two groundskeepers. We did not act with any suspicious activity, nor did we have any negative intentions; only to get a good look at what we hoped to be our new country club. However, a golfer and his buddy decided to make up a lie that we had "snuck in through a hole in the fence" and called a groundskeeper to remove us. I kindly explained that we did not mean to offend and would walk back to our car, yet this was not enough. Because my husband spoke up on our behalf and stated this was all blown out of proportion, the police were called on us. I almost have to laugh at the absurdity but hey,...

The golf course is incredibly well-maintained â lush fairways, challenging but fair holes, and stunning scenery throughout. You can tell the club takes pride in its upkeep and presentation. Whether youâre a seasoned player or just looking to enjoy a casual round, itâs a course that offers something for everyone.
Beyond the golf, the clubhouse and dining facilities were equally impressive. I enjoyed a delicious meal in the dining room, where the service was prompt and friendly, and the food was both flavorful and beautifully presented. It was a perfect way to wind down after a round on the course.
What really sets Pelham apart is the sense of community and tradition. Thereâs a classic charm here â a balance of elegance and warmth that makes each visit memorable. Whether youâre visiting for golf, dining, events, or just a day of relaxation, the club offers a truly elevated experience.
Highly recommend Pelham Country Club for anyone seeking a top-tier country club experience in the...
