Terrible food. Poor service. The first time in my life that I’ve complained to the server that the food is bad instead of saying that it’s good even if it’s just okay. I’ve never in my life had a piece of meat that was more hard and tough and hard to chew. AND it was osso bucco (a piece of meat that is difficult to mess up and supremely soft, my grandma without teeth eats it). It tastes like it was frozen solid, put in the microwave for 5 minutes on high, seared (wrong) and then covered in sauce. No exaggeration please don’t think that. The table shook when trying to cut it. I told the waiter (when they asked) and they had no reaction. The dish my girlfriend ordered was also not very good, tough meat, poor taste, didn’t finish even half of it and of course didn’t take it home. Avoid the food here, stick to...

Great upstairs atmosphere with open windows with nice views overlooking the plaza. The owner is a local painter artist and his works adorn the walls. Staff are super friendly. Drinks and food yummy. We really enjoyed and came 2x on our stay for both lunch and dinner. I’m perplexed by the bad reviews—I found charming. It is not a fast service restaurant, come to relax and enjoy. If you want in and out food there are many options elsewhere nearby. Extensive menu has many options across traditional Peruvian and some international dishes. I give it a very high happy vibe! Not a great experience— skip it. The servers were friendly enough at first, but then the food took a long time time to come, and was very overcooked. No one ever checked in to see how the meal was going and before I had a chance to finish, they brought me the bill. I was not impressed for a restaurant that markets itself as the city’s best.
