Restaurante Qori Sara — Restaurant in Distrito de Cusco

Streaming pile of cheap. That would be my best description of the food. The portions are huge but the quality is atrocious. I went there with 4 friends and none of the dishes were well made. The Lomo Saltado had fries on it that had the chewy texture that showed they were at least a few days old. The milkshake had so much sugar you could leave a spoon standing in it. It was obvious from the meals that they used sauces heavily to hide low quality ingredients.

Looking at the Google reviews I can't help but wonder whether this used to be a different restaurant or whether people just want quantity no matter...

Disappointing food and service. I took my mother here based on the good reviews. First we were told we couldn't sit at our chosen table and moved to the very back - while the other table remained empty. We ordered off the tourist menu yet had to wait over 20 minutes for the soup (the restaurant was only half full). We both ordered the alpaca a la plancha which was grey and so bad neither of us ate it. The rice was cold and half cooked. There are much better restaurants in Cusco. I had the set menu for a cheap 9.50. Everything was served luke-warm at best. I sent the main course back to be heated up. All very average with no flavour. The dessert arrived straight after the starter. It looked good but tasted revolting - some sort of nearly-cold chocolate pudding with skin on top. It's the first chocolate pudding I've ever been given that I couldn't eat. Yuck. Much better places nearby that are similar priced. If I don't get food poisoning from it, I'll consider...
