Chifa SIPAN — Restaurant in Distrito de Cusco

This is hands down my worst Chinese food experience of all time.

When I asked the waiter for a description of several dishes he said "it's Chinese food", there are no descriptions on the menu.

When I asked him what the difference between several dishes on vegetarian menu was he said they were all the same just with different sauce. I asked several times and he assured me it was vegetables and sauce only...so I ordered rice which none of the dishes come with, my dish arrived and it was a noodle dish....so I didn't need the bowl of plain rice.

I asked if there was "chili oil" he said no, I asked if there was hot sauce...he said no the only sauce they had was soy sauce....at the end of the meal I asked the cashier what the bottles of hot sauce were behind the register were and he said "oh for the use in the restaurant, we have Tabasco and chili Oil.....

My friends tofu dish was mealy and tasteless, basically when tofus goes bad ...worst tofu I have ever tasted I almost spit it out

When I brought this up to the manager at the register he simply said "oh sorry the waiter is new" if they had cared they could have taken the rice off the bill which was only 5soles and costs the restaurant basically nothing with amount of rice a Chinese food restaurant goes through.

Both dishes were extremely bland and flavorless., Mine was recommended to me by the waiter as ' the most spicy dish' on vegetarian menue.

7.the rice was dry and overcooked....sorry you are a Chinese food restaurant and your service was terrible so it's gonna make me critical...and it's a basic staple of Chinese Food...if you can't even make good rice how can you make anything else food.

This is the first time I have written a negative revue for a restaurant on Google. This is supposed to be a more upscale Chinese food restaurant in Cuzco, it's good was twice as expensive and twice as bad as well as the service than both local small neighborhood Chinese restaurants in have been to I'm Cuzco. Go to any other Chinese food restaurant in this city and you will have a better experience. Where they are happy to serve you and care about...

Este es el chica al que voy de manera más recurrente pues tiene precios accesibles y la comida es buena, además de que está ubicado en un buen lugar. Tienen una buena variedad de platos, pero yo recomiendo el chicharrón de pollo y si son más de dos personas la mejor opción es pedir los combos; son buenísimos y traen mayor cantidad de platos por menos precio. El local es regular, no es malo, pero tampoco es de lo más cómodo. Eso si, si piensas ir a cenar y tener una conversación tranquila, este no es el lugar pues a veces hay mucha gente, se vuelve muy ruidoso y el televisor siempre está encendido. La atención no es del todo buena, los mozos con buenos muchachos pero parece que estuvieran un poco...

I got salmonela from eating here. I could taste that something was a bit sour in my soup. I threw up the entire night and the next day I still feel horrible. If you have self respect, avoid this place...
