De la Ola — Restaurant in Huanchaco

Came in for lunch. The restaurant was not very busy and seemed well staffed. We ordered the lomo saltado and a basic ceviche. The food and drinks took forever to arrive. The lomo was brought first at a lukewarm warm temperature and we waited another 40 minutes for the ceviche to arrive. The staff had to be reminded to bring our drinks and silverware. We eventually had to walk down three flights of stairs to find someone to ask about the status of our order. There are several of these type restaurants along the waterfront with basically the same menu, vibe and view so for the reasons of abismal service this place...

i love this place! the staff is super friendly and attentive. food (especially the ceviche 🤤) tastes very good and the view is amazing to watch surfers and the sunset. you can also play pool on the second floor :) don’t miss out on karaoke night and música en vivo! special thanks to david and kenny 🌶️...

Meh tasting food ... Quite bland and flavourless, the seafood was not fresh and the beef chewy and tough. Took a long time to get our food and it was quite expensive for what we received. One waiter was quite helpful and attentive, the other uninterested in her job and seemed...
