Our experience with Bao was a huge disappointment unfortunately. Having consumed and cooked Thai food, when something says "spicy" it usually means when I take a bite, it bites back. My spicy chicken Bao didn't even growl. It was two tiny little chicken bites, with two pieces of cucumber, smothered in sweet chili garlic sauce (store bought is my guess) and wrapped in a palm sized Bao. My companion had the highly recommended Cangre burger bowl. Hamburger at best crumbled over a salad on top of a bowl of rice. Again a small portion. For the $38 sol we spent on this meal, we regretted our decision to not better spend the money around the corner at Juicy Lucy of other restaurants in the area where we could actually feel somewhat full...

I've tried two kinds of baos as well as the special lemonade that is mix of lime, passion fruit and lemon grass. The baos were nice, but I found too expensive for what it is. It's a very small place so it's not the tipycal place to go with friends and sit for hours while talking, it's a place to go and enjoy some great and fresh baos, that you can see while they are been made. And teach you to be more organized and respect the others that are waiting to have the same...
