Edo Sushi Bar La Rambla San Borja — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

This was really awesome.

The chef doesn't just cook in front of you, he juggles around a bunch of cooking tools and plays with fire.

He even let us all try throwing an egg in the air and cutting it as it falls. I can't think of another restaurant in Lima that has this kind of level of interaction.

And now I can talk about the food.

So good. I tried a variety of things, and I would love to go again. I tried some new sushi, and it was amazing.

Food was good and consistent as always, Terrible service at La Rambla location, Maitre D didnt cone to greet us when we walked in, there where 2 and where just standing in the background talking and laughing with each other, I had to call them over to get seated, Not accommodating at all. La comida muy buena y todo muy fresco. Pedimos 1 corte de sachimi de bonito y 3 tablas de 10 makis para 2 personas: acevichado (clásico en Perú, es una fusión peruana japonesa y realmente una delicia!), edo (bueno y diferente) y seiji (bueno medio dulce).

Atención B-, no están tan atentos en este local y no nos trajeron las bebidas bien. Pedimos limonadas de hierba luisa al tiempo con hielo aparte y nunca nos trajeron el hielo y así unos detalles que les faltó para que la experiencia sea excelente.

Local: normal, pero por el frío pedimos una mesa adentro y con las puertas que se abrían y cerraban había mucho aire frío que entraba y me daba a mi en la espalda. No muy agradable.

Punto negativo que me sorprendió realmente de un restaurante como Edo: los cocineros que ves trabajar (eso me parece interesante como concepto) no llevaban tapabocas o mascarillas cuando preparan tu comida. Nada higiénico y a mi parecer algo que tienen que...
