Fridays San Miguel — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Friday has become very popular in Peru. You can find many of them around Lima. This is one of the newest Friday’s in Lima. Lovely decor. Very typical of this chain with young staff. The place started to get crowded towards 8pm or 9pm with people in line trying to get a place. Seems it’s very popular for young adults. Decent selection of Happy Hour drinks. This time, I tried something different of my regular mojito and we went for the pisco options. There wasn’t consistency in the cocktails. The wings as always were really good. I would suggest to put more napkins when serving wings cus it get messy. The service wasn’t fast but it was understandable because the place was very crowded. The manager on duty introduce herself and gave as the menus, that was a good touch, see the managers hands on when busy. I would recommend the place for a after office drinks definitely cus of the variety of options...

If I was able to put -5 stars I would. I have NEVER in my life experienced worse service or food. We came 45 mins before closing and the staff was more worried about going home than serving us. Everything that came to the table was cold and the drinks badly made. Even left the beer waiting on the bar for five minutes before serving it to us warm. The burgers we sent back because they were cold that was supposed to be medium came back well done so obviously they were reheated instead of making new ones.

If you want to eat well or even drink well this is NOT the place for you!

I would even go so far as to say to the Fridays chain that they should remove their brand from this location as it will be apart of ruining the brand.

Si pudiera poner -5 estrellas lo haría. NUNCA en mi vida he experimentado un peor servicio o comida. Llegamos 45 minutos antes del cierre y el personal estaba más preocupado por ir a casa que por atendernos. Todo lo que llegaba a la mesa estaba frío y las bebidas mal hechas. Incluso dejó la cerveza esperando en la barra durante cinco minutos antes de servirnosla calentita. Las hamburguesas que enviamos de regreso porque estaban frías, que se suponía que eran medianas, regresaron bien hechas, así que obviamente fueron recalentadas en lugar de hacer otras nuevas.

Si quieres comer bien o incluso beber bien, ¡este NO es el lugar para ti!

Incluso iría tan lejos como para decirle a la cadena Fridays que deberían quitar su marca de esta ubicación, ya que sería además de...

American restaurant and American pricing.... Go elsewhere. We love eating here in the USA... But will avoid Fridays in south America after this experience. Spent $330 on a family of 4 and ended up eating our dinner elsewhere after being served uncooked and cold food at Fridays...the manager was unprofessional and nasty... Bad experience...
