Master Kong San Borja — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Was looking for a good Asian restaurant and got recommended to this place by a friend. For all the good reviews and the extremely high prices, I thought I was going to get something I did not receive.

We ordered takeout. The food had no flavor!! We ordered the safofan, garlic pork, aeropuerto sam si and chicken ti pa kay. They all tasted like nothing. The aeropuerto rice was supposed to come with shrimp. In the whole bucket, there were only 3 shrimp. The garlic pork was a couple pieces of meat, swimming in a whole onion. The safofan was flavorless. The ti pa kay was the smallest portion of chicken for 33 soles.

This place is bad. No flavor, small portions, and expensive. For all the dishes, we paid s/165. What a waste! Do yourself a favor and...

First time at this location of master Kong since we usually go to the one in el centro. Definitely recommend the area and the restaurant itself. The service was great, the food was amazing as well. The only issue was that they brought out the wrong filling min pao but we just ate them since we were pretty hungry. They pork min paos, dim sums and pork dishes are always to die for. Although I would say tong Kong in aviation will definitely give them a run for their money. I think I’ll be posting a review about this place next. Anyways, you will be out to go place for pork min paos 🙌. Also don’t forget to order their desserts. The piggy design bun its the best. I believe it’s some sort of almond filled custard. The food was great, however the customer service was mediocre and there was poor communication among the waiters. One of waiters did not introduce to the whole party; he explained the process of ordering food and took 2 of our entrees, then he sent another waiter to take our orders, thats where the confusion started.. he gave the wrong drinks and brought double orders that we did not ask for. At the end, they blamed it on us for re-ordering the things where they messed up and charged us for everything. They just came up with a poor apology gesture. There is definitely better asian...
