Misky Challwa — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

We stopped here after reading google reviews.

It was a great dining experience. We got the tres ceviches which was amazing. Also got the ceviche del dia ( which was the same as one of the tres), lomo saltado which was excellent, tacu tacu miskychallwa which had an incredible assortment of flavors, and the jalea mixta which was the least special of any of the dishes. Also got a maracuya sour which was excellent.

The ambience was great. Came on a Sunday at lunch time and it was packed with locals. We were the only obvious visitors in the restaurant.

We had no expectations for such, but our waiter spoke fluent English--which made the ordering process easier. He also made some suggestions and did a little up-selling, but in a good way.

The food came out quickly from a kitchen that was turning meals at a rapid pace.

The freshness and flavors were great. We shared the ceviche matador and loved it. There are so many options! Each looked interesting. It's not cheap. Our dish was 39 sol, but high quality. Server got our drink order wrong but we didn't know so instead of a 6 sol glass we got a 15 sol glass. She then argued with me.

It's weird to see bad reviews with no comments. Perhaps they are jealous competitors because this place was quite good, the service was stellar and the restaurant...

No lo recomiendo. Pésimo lugar.

Fui con mi familia por el día de la madre. Entendemos que hubo demanda y preguntamos cuanto tiempo demoraba. La chica que nos atendía nos dijeron al rededor de 25 min. Lo cual aceptamos y pedimos 4 platos. Pasaron los 25min. Y solo trajeron 1. Pasó 10min. Y trajeron el segundo. Preguntamos cuanto falta para que llegue los dos pedidos más y nos dijeron que ha estaban listos. (Nos tuvo 20min. Que ya estaban listos) Hasta que nos paramos y exigimos hablar con alguien porque eran 55min. Desde que tomo el pedido. Que nos diera una solución. Y su respuesta fue: Disculpen no se les va atender, no va a salir su pedido. Se equivocaron y no hicieron. Molestos salimos del lugar. Es pésima la atención y más cuando no solucionan...
