Hostal turístico el cajamarquez — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

The lady is a nice person. But from the personal experience as a traveler, it was a terrible night. (Even I traveled a lot, this group shouting ktv was unbearable.)

Very poor sound insulation! 5 mins from Aiprort by car but..

Be careful if you decide to go there. Bring your earplugs just in case.

• I choose it for the price and the distance from the airport.

• The lady offered me a cup of coffee at 7am before I left.

• Price was NOT clear. The texted me that the pick-up is from $ 5 to 25 soles, thats 5 times difference. Nothing was confirmed. But afterwards when we called to ask for the pick-up, the guy just said "a lady (the host’s wife) will come to pick me up now" he didn't mentioned the fee, not even a fixed price. (how would I know what the price/option I was offered. it sounds like it was just a quick pick-up for free) I waited 20 mins at the airport. The lady appeared. 5 mins later we arrived in the hotel she asked me to pay 25 soles...... i was not sure how they decide the price. (There were taxi offering me 20 soles directly to the house.) I told her the guy didn't tell me any fee via phone call and I am paying. Just who had agreed this 25 soles and how? (for a short ride and an extra 20min-waiting)

• 2) Terrible night. the worst is the noise! I heard everyone walking throw the lobby, 2 AM people checked it and the lady went to pick them up, talking loud and moving things, just like they are in front of you. Since I check-in at 11 PM, people had been screaming and shouting from the street, THE WHOLE NIGHT. I recorded a video at 3 AM!

• 3) The next morning, I told a guy working there about how noisy it was at night. The guy just looked at me with this “it-is-what-it-is” long face and said "that is the street, what do you want me to do" well……

• everything was clean. Shower was hot enough except you have no control of the temperature....

I stayed in this hotel for one night and I would completely recommend it if you need to fly other day. It is really close to Lima airport and the building is facing the park (not the main street), therefore I was able to sleep well. It is not happening so often as Callao is very loudly part of Lima. The owners of hostal are very helpful and their service of taxi is highly recommended as the price (25 soles) is good. The rooms are basic, but clean with hot water, so ideal...

We booked this location because of the price and location near the airport. Henry was prompt in picking us up from the airport, offered us tea at check-in and made sure everything was perfect for our stay.||The room was clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was hot.||The only down side, which can't be controlled by the staff, was the street noise was loud quite late...
