I do not understand how this place is so highly rated. Both the food and the service were sub-par. Food: we ordered ceviche and chicharrónes. The ceviche came with a bit of fried calamari, which was cold and rubbery by the time it arrived. Also, even though we clarified to the waiter that we wanted the ceviche WITH aji, it came without a hint of spice and we had to ask for aji on the side. Portions were also small given the price. Service: When our food came, I wanted to order a 2nd drink. The waiter stayed long enough for our aji request, then was gone. When he returned, I ordered a drink, and he left before my partner could do the same. When we asked for our bill at the end of the meal, they brought one from a different table and we had to correct them.
The ambiance is quite nice, but I see no other reason to go to this place over any other. Will not be back...
Read moreA satisfactory peruvian restaurant, but not quite as good as the many other options within a 100m radius. While we were seated quickly on a busy Sunday, our table was literally falling apart in a loud corner of the restaurant. Service was quick to take an order, but inefficient as food arrive without cutlery, and no one waiter seemed to be responsible for our table, which meant asking multiple times for the basic elements of service. The food was beautifully presented and tasted pretty good; but some of the more fusion-y dishes like the Amazon Chaufa were not well executed or tasty. I hope we just had...
Punto a favor: Su personal, atento y amable.
