La Caffetteria di Lonato — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

We went to Caffetteria di Lonato for some dessert and were extremely disappointed. I wanted to order the croffle with Snicker ice cream (the flavor of the ice cream was not specified. The waiter said that I could only order the vanilla ice cream. On the other side of the menu they specified chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. My girlfriend wanted to order two scoops of pistachio ice cream and they told her that it was not possible. That she had to order 1 scoop of pistachio + another scoop of pistachio if she wanted. Again, no small print or specification. We ended up leaving. It seems to be pretty inflexible...

So glad I found this place. This place has the VERY best WIFI in the city. Much better than any Starbucks or cafe. The service is excellent as there are many nice servers to attend to you. The coffee is very good and they always give cute designs in your cappuccinos or lattes. Their breakfast is good but the options are a little limited. They have a lunch special where they give you a couple of options and you receive a multi course meal with appetizer, main portion and desert (all portions are small but I found it quite filling) and...

Poor service: cero greetings, cero recommendations, cero suggestions; the waiters are ill prepared for the job. Compared to the most mediocre coffee shop at San Isidro's Dasso street, La Caffetteria di Lonato falls far behind, regardless that the prices for coffee are equivalent or even higher.

The poor presentation of the strawberry cheesecake is a proclamation to an absolute lack of dedication to quality.
