As of May 2023 it costs 12 soles to go to the buffet and make your own appetizer plate and make your own Main plate. A salad was not an option for the appetizer plate this time but I put an assortment of the items that were available. For the main plate I got the the "aji de no gallina" with rice and potato on the main plate. I thought the food was good. However, there were no vegetables in the entire meal such as broccoli carrots celery etc. The meal choices were heavy on carbs and mock meat that provided protein. In a vegan restaurant, I would expect there to be more variety of vegetables. They have a microwave oven to heat up your food as the steam table doesn't appear to be heated. The vegetarian restaurants in Peru all seem to serve the same dishes. I wish they were more inventive like the restaurants that I went to in Colombia. Nevertheless the food is good here and if you happen to be in this area it's a good choice. It's not far from the Metropolitan Museum of Lima and the other museums nearby. Easily reached by public transit.
The atmosphere is good here. All of the tables and chairs are new and they play good music in...
Read moreBuffet was ok, nothing spectacular, not very hygenic. Have had better vegetarian Peruvian food at Miraflores, Barranco, Sacred Valley. Restaurant not in a safe area (we were warned by our driver). Service was very poor. We requested the owners(lady & a man) to refill the many empty dishes multiple times, but they said yes, took our payment upfront & continued to eat their lunch. They seemed to pay attention only when people they knew walked in. They take payment upfront, so there is nothing you can do, if they do not refill the dishes. Our buffet drink had green mold-like substance at the bottom of the glass..unfortunately we noticed after we had drunk most of it. On the positive side, the kitchen staff were very nice. After we talked directly with them, they...
Read moreI am in Lima for a couple days and am on a strict diet so I had to eat vegan food I luckily stumbled across this place.
I was very nervous at first because I am a tourist and don't speak a bit of spanish but the lady was incredibly kind and speaks pretty good English. I didn't realise it was a buffet so please remember this is a serve yourself reasturant ! The food was very good for the price point and even with a bit of confusion ( I didn't know it was fully vegan) they still catered to me and made me feel taken care of. Good joint , if you are looking for some vegan food in Lima....
