Cassalu — Restaurant in 2nd District

Not really sure what time they were closing on sunday but google said they were until 11pm and the crew were already placing ng chairs upside down and closing some of the lights except our table. I wasn't going to say anything but the way they closed out on us, i was mad furious. Thank my wife because you could have gotten a mouthful from me.

Aside from that food was okay and overpriced for the taste in my opinion. Coffee was overpriced too. Even beating starbucks to it.

Oh and I'm definitely sure i will never ever going back to this placed again. Red velvet cheesecake was terrible though my dad liked the ube cheesecake which for me was just okay.

Nothing special except that the cappuccino was yummy and legit.

Again, if you think this is one of the reviews you can ignore, think again because you will never get a better experience...

Came in for a late lunch, so not a lot of diners. Cheerful ambience, clean, comfortable seating, and efficient staff. I was looking for soup, but they didn’t have it, so i ordered rice and tofu with mushrooms instead. Servings are good for two, and leaving room for coffee or dessert is not a bad idea. Tofu was crispy, and the sauce savory but the mushrooms were more of a garnish. The bangus could be more boneless, the garlic rice was bland and a little wet, and the yang chow fried rice was missing it’s characteristic flavor. I recently visited your store and had a disappointing experience. I ordered a hot latte but was served a messy-looking coffee that was far too sweet for a proper latte. When I raised my concern, the staff replaced it, but without any sense of empathy for the issue. It felt as though the trainees were just playing around with our orders rather than taking them seriously.
