Popeyes - Alabang Zapote — Restaurant in 2nd District

I need to edit my review. Popeye's management is THE WORST. Last week, my friends and I were playing Magic: The Gathering cards, and mind you, we ordered food and ate while playing. The manager then sends the guard, not himself to ask us to leave because we were "gambling". So for those who don't know what the game is, it is a Trading Card Game (TCG), similar to Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, and one of the newest entries, Disney's Lorcana. Disney, a family oriented company creates a game similar to Magic, for kids. If you were ignorant, you would say this is gambling, but if you used your brains, this is like playing Uno Cards, Monopoly, and similar board games. If they allow students who order almost nothing to hang around and use their phones and consume space, yet they ask paying adults, that deserve the space they use to leave, is a very loud case of injustice by people who do not think before acting. Other fastfood chains like Burger King and McDonald's allow Magic players to be patreons because we pay when we use their place, and I feel everyone should be aware of these kinds of places so they...

The place is on "Fire" figuratively speaking. The AC cannot accommodate the number of guests coming in, mind you that there are only 2 groups when we came in, a group of 5 and a group of 3. It is only 9am in the morning but you feel that it is already noon inside (If they can't afford proper airconditioning , Please purchase some industrial electric fans). You can tell that it won't get cold because even the cashiers have their own small fan. Service is lackluster, asking for water? Wait for 10 minutes. They are seriously understaffed, service is pretty slow, considering the size of the place. The chicken included with the spaghetti meal can only be wings or drumstick, which is a very small serving. Even the chickenjoy of Jollibee (considering that it is infamous of being small) is bigger than their serving. For me the best redeeming menu was the A&W rootbeer and they have a generous serving for it. I will not recommend going to this place, just order your food online.

They were busy with some other work when we came to order and made us wait . Then when their so called work was done they took orders from new customers instead of letting us order. The servers kept denying to take our orders just because we’re Indian students and instead allowed the Pinoys to go forward with their orders. After waiting for 45mins they denied our order saying they don’t have the change for the 1000pesos for our 812php order . It’s the responsibility of the food joint to keep change !! Also, to the staff who wanted to “verify” my order number as I was carrying my food upstairs, you seemingly “verified” my order twice and still managed to give me 2 additional sundaes which I did not order!! Just because we’re international students doesn’t mean we steal from restaurants! He was acting as though I was stealing someone else’s food!
