I went to this branch last night for dinner with my partner and son. Upon entering the resto, no one welcomed us, we stood there for like 2-3 mins, waiters were just passing by without even looking at us. The resto was not full, so it was kinda strange for us as we never experienced this in a Mama Lou's resto. 🚩 So we accommodate ourselves in a table very much visible, hoping that someone will notice us.. waited another 2 mins, nothing! Ok, so we had to raise our hands to get their attention.. so finally, a female waiter brought us the menu. So after a few mins that we were finally at our table, while scrolling the menu and still deciding w my partner and my son what to order, a male waiter approached us and asked if we can move to another table as the one where we were staying is "reserved"... NOTE: there was no sign that the table was reserved, and if it was, then the waitress should have informed us when she gave the menu. Second, no one approached us when we entered the resto, we were standing there for 2-3 mins. We stood up and left, we decided not to have dinner there anymore and just go to Mama Lou's BF Homes. They have waaaaaaayy better service there and the menu is more affordable, plus the quality of food is very good (i am a native italian) I'm a frequent diner, esp at Mama Lou's but unfortunately i don't recommend this branch. The food may be good, but the...

We had a surprise visit from one of our VIP guests and needed a last-minute reservation for a late-night dinner. Without hesitation, I called Mama Lou’s Alabang West, and they graciously accommodated us at 10 PM. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
The service was nothing short of impeccable—attentive yet discreet, with the staff anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Their professionalism and genuine warmth made us feel truly valued as guests.
As for the food, every dish was a masterpiece. Crafted with precision and care, the flavors were well-balanced, the ingredients fresh and high-quality, and each bite an absolute delight. From the first taste to the last, it was evident that every dish was prepared with passion and expertise, leaving us eager to return for more.
Beyond the food and service, the ambiance was equally impressive. The elegant yet cozy setting provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and enjoyable meal, whether for an intimate dinner or a special celebration.
A truly superb experience from start to finish—we highly recommend Mama Lou’s Alabang West for anyone seeking exceptional dining, outstanding service, and an...
Read moreMy visit tonight was nothing short of a LETDOWN 👎🏻.
Firstly, the promise of al fresco dining was shattered by the staff discouraging us due to the heat and mosquitoes, which felt more like an excuse to avoid wiping down tables.
The menu inconsistencies were baffling, like the Carpaccio di Manzo, which the server said was no longer being offered but when she went to the kitchen and checked it was available. Anyway, it turnes out to be a sad excuse for a dish, drowning in balsamic and lacking essential flavors.
To add insult to injury, basic drink options like Coke were unavailable, with only fruit juices on offer. The attempt to upsell me on buy-one-take-one cocktails fell flat when both glasses arrived simultaneously (she expected me to drink both drinks at the same time?)
Even the simple request for the Amatricciana dish was met with the news that it was 86ed. And the finale? A baffling insistence on paying with debit due to supposed bad signal, only to find out credit card payment was perfectly fine after a bit of insistence.
Overall, Mama Lou’s Primeo in Alabang West failed to deliver on multiple fronts, leaving a sour taste in my...
