It's nice, the setting is like a carinderia. Plastic tables and chairs. Plastic plates, stainless steel spoon and fork, and glasswares.

There's a water container in the area where you can get your free mineral water, but we ordered the 1.5 Coke bottle instead.

There's a restroom but it seems untidy and small.

We came around 11:40 there weren't any people at the time, so we've dine-in and ordered the famous sisig and tokwa't baboy.

As per safety measures, the staff were only wearing face masks, there isn't any free alcohol/sanitizers in the area. It seems that they don't disinfect the tables as well. I'm not sure whether they sterilize the utensils too since it was already served with a tissue.

It's quite hot inside, there were only a few electric fans. When we were going to eat, we were surprised with the new customers going inside.

Marami talaga.

So, we've secluded ourselves in a corner so we wouldn't be too near the other customers.

Social distancing is not applicable in the restaurant.

The customers at the time were very loud but I guess that's okay, it's a restaurant. But in this trying times, limit your speaking to avoid infecting people with whatever you have.

I guess I assume they're regular customers who live in the area. It was our first time eating there.

Anyway, the sisig is good, I'm actually expecting something great since it's the original famous sisig in Pampanga but it's just alright. I like the tofu more. Seems like a normal carinderia.

But maybe the other food is much better? I don't know since we haven't ordered it because there's already a crowd and we don't want to be infected just in case.

We actually want some extra rice but we just took the bill already.

Anyway, nice resto...

We went to Pampanga just to try their famous sisig and here's my feedback:

Sisig - we were disappointed because it tastes just like the regular sisig in carenderias. There's nothing special about it. My bf loves sisig but he didn't even get a second serving because he doesn't like it. We ordered 2 kilos of sisig because I thought we would love it. In the end, we only managed to eat 1/3 of it and we asked the remaining to take home. It is still in our ref until now 🥲

Chicharong bulaklak - the portion is so little and it isn't that good. You can buy better tasting chicharong bulaklak in manila for the same price.

Liempo - for me it is just a normal tasting but I preferred this one from all the others we've ordered.

Bulalo - my family and I really don't like this. The soup tastes like boiled corn. There wasn't any hint of beef in the soup. It was really disappointing.

Place - there's a lot of flies but other than that, the place is the usual carenderia style.

Service - there are missing orders that we needed to follow up from other staff just to be provided. This is not good considering that there weren't many customers when we came.

Price - considering the taste of food, there are lots of other good places that offer a portion of their pricing here.

Overall, I think it was all just hype. Maybe I'll try some other sisig places...

The original sisig queen - Aling Lucing.

My friend and I tried going to all these original local foods in Pampanga, one of them was Aling Lucing famous for their sisig. we ordered sisig and ensaladang talong. And as what rumor say, it is the best sisig receipe I've ever tasted. No eggs, just plain heavy sisig. When I say heavy, it's the type if serving where you can say "siksik talaga" at hindi tinipid. It was juicy at malasa talaga.

I suggest to renovate and or enhance the place cause it's really a strategic place para sa mga parokyano nila. Invest maybe in tables and chairs, silverwares and electricfans and or airconditioning. Comfort room was dirty, they could have maintened it properly. Proper hygiene and sanitation should also be taken into consideration. I'm pretty sure, sa dami nilang customers na pablik balik sa kanila, they can spend for renovation kahit yung hindi bonggang renovation as long as its decent, clean and well maintained.

Other than that, masarap talaga ang sisig and I would still recommend it to my friends and others to try it. In all fairness naman talaga. The original is...

See photos for ordered food with prices. Food: nothing worth traveling to or lining up for. If you’re the type of person who explores and travels for food and been to good restaurants, you wouldn’t want to waste your time and energy here. Sisig is ok. Not extraordinary or even just good. It’s ok but oily. Sinigang na hipon is bland. Other food were just the typical taste you can buy in any ordinary karinderya. Service: staffs were welcoming and pleasant. But just like what i read in most reviews, they’re all having a hard time managing orders and cleaning the place every after customer. The management just needs to add more staff to serve people better. Location: easy to find. Parking is just on side streets. Not a very tidy and neat place so if you consider that, it’s definitely a no. Value for money: with the type of place and taste of food, this is not a good value for money. Overall: the price of food gave me a false impression that the taste is worth it. But sorry, we will never go back again.
