Nyaman na Pho — Restaurant in Angeles

Starting off with the ambiance, they have come a long way. I remember eating here back in 2016 and it felt like a carinderia then. Now, they've ramped up a major make over. The place looks straight outa vietnamese resto.

They serve delicious Bahn Mi at a generous size. One order, already cut in smaller portions, can feed two people and it only costs 100 pesos. The pomelo salad is something new to me and I liked it. Crisp and citrusy, complemented with herbs and bits of peanuts.

Very good food! I had the Pho, imperial rolls, and pomelo salad. I'm so glad they served sweet thai basil with the purple stem and NOT the italian basil like the other place "Bahn Mi". My only critique is that the soup didn't have beef tendon or beef balls and more meat. And also the soup spoon wasn't the chinese style spoon. It was difficult getting a large amount of soup per sip. Not even close to real viet food.

My order had hard unchewable old bread for the banh mi and non pickled vegetables. Meat was old stringy and tough.

Pho tasted like msg flavor enhanced broth with noodles and old sliced beef added.

The pomelo salad was literally pieces of pomelo and shredded fake crab stick thrown together. Awful.
