I don't want to gatekeep this hidden gem / hole in the wall since I badly want it to thrive and stay for a long time, esp. since it's just around 3km away from our house.
My fiance and I usually go to Vietnam at least once a year for leisure and to wallow in its indubitably amazing food and coffee culture. The food served here, we must say, is the real deal!!! It's like getting served with Vietnamese food conveniently at your doorstep. It seems to be run by a Vietnamese family, hence the authenticity.
Everything we ordered (pho, bahn mi, fried spring rolls) captured the essence of Viet food --- fresh ingredients, celebrates and harmonizes the natural flavors of herbs, veggies and meat, and makes you feel full but without the guilt (that is common with our local cuisine).
The broth of the pho is light and flavorful. The bahn mi bread has the perfect crunch. While the spring rolls, even though fried, have no hint of greasiness.
However for the coffee, I think it didn't quite capture the real deal as I found it too sweet. Authentic ones has more intense coffee flavor mellowed down a bit by sweetened condensed milk.
For the cost: In Vietnam, the same pho serving usually amounts to 100-125 pesos if converted in PHP. Here, it's priced around 300. However, since this is the Philippines whose economy is badly screwed both by its politicians and voters (coz it takes two to tango), I'd say that the price point here is reasonable considering inflation and the quality you're getting.
Will I be back here? Heck...

I tried the combo meal (Pho, Banh Mi, and fresh spring rolls), the beef noodle soup, and the seafood soup. All very delicious. Each soup had different types of noodles and the servings were plentiful. I appreciate the complimentary serving of fresh, aromatic herbs to complement the soup. The food wasn't fancy and it shouldn't be - it was just downright delicious.
And the ice coffee (cafe su da) tastes just like in Vietnam.
And none of it is expensive! All other local-owned Viet restos need to look at this place to see how Vietnamese folks run a humble resto. I'm done spending money for overpriced pho or lame banh mi sandwiches at other places, this is my go-to for soups, sandwiches, and iced...
