Another winner by Chef Bong. IMO, this is the best restaurant he has ever opened. First it is small, only about 22 seats with an open kitchen, but it feels light and open. A limited menu that changes weekly to highlight different offerings. Our Tuesday Expat dinner group went last night. All five of us were very happy. Orders ranged for a Cheeseburger to the double Pork Chop. The real difference is everything here was excellent, some would question 500 pesos for a Burger & Fries, but in this case they would be wrong. Best burger my friend has had in 20 years. The same was true with Citrus Brined Pork Chop, tender with full flavor, another winner. As was the Caesar Salad with country ham and a unique oyster omelette as a starter. Pricing is higher than average for Angeles, but really they are low for what is served from one of the best Chef's in the Philippines. Was introduced to Chef Bong and his cooking about 10 years ago by another great Chef, Dan from Piccolo Padre. Both do great food but very different styles. Open for Dinner Only, Monday Closed. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Do yourself a favor and book yourself a reservation! Have not been to a restaurant as good as this in a long time. Been to a lot in the last few years but have not tasted something as simple and as good as this. Flavors are not complex but executed very well. Fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Top choice would be the Porkchop, Alavar Prawns and the pulpo. Serving is good for sharing. Thought we were getting small plate serving. Boy was I wrong! Amazing! Kudos to the chef!

Ambiance was great giving a new york steakhouse vibe. The food was excellent. The fish being my favourite dish. Pasta was aldente with bursting of umami from the mushroom and miso. Would definitely be back with friends. Worth a quick journey for me.
