I ate today with my sister at Jollibee Pampang. I purposely didn’t eat at the nearby canteens or side vendors because Jollibee has always been my childhood favorite. Unfortunately, this visit was quite disappointing.
The chicken servings were small, and the taste was very bland—even though I ordered the spicy one. My sister’s original chicken still had a strong taste of flour, as if it wasn’t cooked properly or was fried on high heat. The iced tea was filled with too much ice that I could barely taste the tea itself.
We spent almost ₱200 per head, and for that price, I expected the same quality Jollibee has always been known for. I understand this is a fast-food restaurant, but the quality has really gone down. What a shame—₱200 is not easy to earn these days. Honestly, the food we had today made me feel that it’s better to eat in a simple canteen instead.
