Jun-Jun's Bibingka & Barbeque Restaurant — Restaurant in Angeles

With much excitement, being that I have not eaten at this restaurant after the longest time, I ordered for the all time favorite, chicken bbq, pork bbq, sisig and vegies.

What's slightly disappointing is that the particular cut/ part i politely requested for at the onset was not served. I was told that they served a different part because what i requested for was SOLD OUT. well, that was quite understanble. And well, yeah, why not.

Now, this is the most disgusting part, the tables after mine were served, and after being told that the cut/part i politely requested for, was not available, were ALL SERVED WITH my preferred cut.

So why was i told that it was 't available anymore when everyone else after me got it?

Disppointed being lied to in your face while eating. SAD. Really sad and utterly disgusting.

I'm not reviewing the taste.anymore, as everything else didn't taste good because of the tasteless...

Portions are a good size, with good quality meat. Very tasty but slightly expensive.

We paid around 700php / £10 per person for dinner with drinks and left full, barely able to finish. The price of individual BBQ is quite high e.g. 100php per stick. Set menus offer better value.

The garlic rice was ok, pork BBQ was very good with 100% meat and no chunks of fat.

Chicken BBQ was also very flavourful and again a decent portion size.

Pork liempo was very tasty, but not my favourite version of this dish. Still good though.

Google shows that the shop shuts at 10pm and staff said last orders at 9pm so get there before closing to allow kitchen to cook your order.

I think the items on the menu are affordable and good. Though I couldn't say the same for the bbq, it's priced at 100php per stick. Was it good? Yes. Value for money? Not quite. Ordinary tasting bbq that is sweet (more like tocino), nothing extraordinary. The bbq sauce wc they brag about is bad, at least the ones we tasted that were on our table, they are served in squeezed bottles. The sauce is broken, has a funny taste to it, which i reckon has been sitting too long already on the table. The rice is bad...
