Honest Review Location: Google-able in Maps... Very accessible (via private car). Near SM Clark. Place has limited parking spaces.
Ambience: The place was homey. Temperature was just right; not too cold, not too warm, however, despite having two exhaust fans, an air-conditioner and an electric fan in an enclosed room, we were still having concerns about the ventilation. We were all basically crying because the smoke was only circulating in the room (we were a group of nine so we were seated in our own separate room, unfortunately I can't speak for the rest of the place) The restroom also needs at least a hand soap.
Food: Everything was delicious. Unlimited side dishes (per request/not buffet style) and iced tea. Free ice cream. Unlimited pork and beef. For the pork however, it was sliced too thick. Yes it tastes good (with condiments) but it took a while for it to be cooked right. The beef was a bit pricey but it was so good. I'd say the pork was affordable, it was priced just right. Compliments to the sweetened camote and shanghai - the best!
Service: I hope I got the right name, Ms. Jacky was it? She assisted us the whole time. She was very kind and informative. She answered all our queries clearly and in detail. She has been working there for only a month but thanks to her, she gave us a very good first impression of the place. Hoping for more people like her. Also, the security guard was alert. Soon as we arrived, he immediately came closer for assistance (with the parking...
Read moreRestaurant is newly renovated/build I like their food before. I ordered makchang, I was expecting more cause it’s so expensive compared to other korean restaurant. But the staffs doesn’t know how to cook it. Also it’s not good it has a bitter taste worst makchang I ate. It’s my husband birthday today but he had a bad day with the staff. Maybe other menu are good but makchang is not worth it for 800 pesos. They cook so slow my husband finish eating already so we just take out. Sauce of makchang is not good too. Also they are still doing construction in the parking area. I don’t know what my husband ordered but he said the...
Read moreOur go to place to eat Korean. The idea here is that the place does not appear fancy but they can be fancy in the selection if you know what to order. This place can be a daily eating place for Koreans or if you have the budget, order the exotics and truly expensive ones on the menu. If you're not Korean, just be prepared to be stared at by the regular Korean patrons. They seem irritated by your presence. But hey, in Angeles City, this has been normalized since the Americans. And us Filipinos here have...
