Started in the mid-80's by Bart and Angie Lim, LA Bakeshop took the place of Bart's Grocery in San Fernando, Pampanga. Now, it is being run by their daughter, Bunny.
They are famous for their creamy and sweet Cheese Bread (P7 each) and their Spanish Bread (P9 each). We also got their Big Cheese Ensaimada (P130) and regular sized Ensaimada with Salted Egg (P40).
My first encounter with LA Bakery was when we booked an early dinner at the most sought after Private Dining place in Central Luzon, Denlim's Kitchen about 6 years ago.
