Mila's Restaurant — Restaurant in Angeles

This city is slowly losing good restaurants. Tonight, we had the worst dining experience ever. We ordered the Crispy Pata because I've had it before and really liked it. What we were served tonight was awful. There was hardly any crispy skin on it. It was mostly bone and grizzle and other unchewable stuff. They even had the gall to raise the price of the dish! And disappointingly, the Paco Salad I used to brag about was half of what it used to be. To all the food writers and critics who write glowing reviews of the place, maybe you were served special cuts and items not available to us locals. Well, I'm adding Mila's to my boycott list. Customers beware! Spend your hard earned money...

I would say the place is a 3.7 almost a 4. The food was good especially the sisig and paco salad. The service was really quick. I would say the cleanliness was a bit of a miss there were small roaches 🪳 but this was more to the side by the back/lavatory. Overall the experience was a good one if you’re looking for something authentic, but I don’t think I would travel just for this. There’s parking nearby as well which is great. Also the prices are super reasonable and the food is rustic...

Always a treat to eat at any of their branches and we did end up visiting Vista Verde, KoreaTown and the original location which were all unfortunately closed due. Luckily the Nepo one was opened and the owner explained to us why the other locations were closed.
