My hubby created a hype about this place. He was so determined & excited to visit the place once we arrived in Philippines for our vacation. I don’t really eat goat meat but for the love of him (hubby🥰), I tried it. First, parking inside the compound is too tight so you have to be lucky so you can have a spot along the street. As for the Atmosphere/ ambiance, I think they can do better even if they want to maintain their theme of being “authentically taldawa vibe” at least do something with how your roofs, tarps or makeshift shades look like. The servers don’t even ask or greet you when you come. You have to figure it out on your own. Service takes at least 45 - 60 minutes before food starts to be served. I get it that they just cook as you order but surely the goat meat is already prepared. Anyway, let’s go to pricing. It is quite pricey for a small serving. You pay 300 php & up for maybe a cup of the meat cooked in either sinigang, sisig or pinapaitan. Yes I know it’s goat meat but it is too pricey for the community. I saw FEATR has a plate hanging over their kitchen & I know some other influencers too made good reviews about their cooking which I think gave way for the price increase? No offense meant but I am just giving 2 stars for this place. My own honest opinion so please let’s respect each other. I hope they will improve how their place looks like even just the roof to lessen the heat or their service to become...
Read moreI came here curious about the hype around their kambing dishes, and I wasn’t disappointed. The papaitan had that classic bitter kick, perfectly balanced — definitely one of the better versions I’ve tried. The sinigang na kambing was rich and meaty, with a nicely sour broth that really hits the spot. The kalderetang kambing was tender and flavorful, while the adobong bibe had that deep, home-cooked taste. I also tried the kinilaw na kambing, which was fresh with just enough heat to give it a nice kick. The place itself is simple — open-air, no-frills, and very casual — so don’t expect much in terms of ambiance. Service was a bit slow, and parking is limited, so coming early is a good idea. Prices are slightly on the high side for the setup, but fair considering the quality. If you’re craving authentic kambingan dishes and don’t mind a bit of waiting, this spot is definitely worth...
